I’m guessing if the whole Bonham thing is a mystery, there’s no chance you’d get this one. +1 internetz and a Ruth’s Chris steak to anyone who does (don’t disappoint, DB).

Right foot. One hell of a right foot. Although his tendency to keep time with 1/8 notes on the high hat with his left foot during fills, Moby Dick and while playing the bell of the ride cymbal was pretty fucking cool too. I must say though, I recently purchased a Ludwig SpeedKing single bass pedal and the ease at which I can play triplets with it compared to a typical chain and spring drive pedal certainly makes his bass chops a little less impressive. By a little less impressive I mean that his right foot is still faster than God’s, but not light years ahead of Him. Fuck, who am I kidding? Bonham IS God![/quote]
