I use to play sonic alot when i was younger.Did you ever get the code on I think sonic 2 where if you got enough rings he would become like super sonic and go really fast.He got like big hair and hauled ass.
Fuck yea. I remember the kid of one of my parent’s friends would come over and he was like 10 years older. He’d always have these cool tricks and shit (codes). Everytime he went super sonic i’d freak out.
HOWD YOU DO THAT?
lol good times.

I dont remember how to do it but it was cool.I tried playing Sonic recently and sucked at it,its Way to fast.[/quote]

1)In the main menu select “options”.

2)select “sound select” in the options menu

3)play sounds 19, 65, 09, 17. Then press C.You’ve now enabled the “level select” cheat.

4)press start to return to the main menu. When Sonic and Tails appear hold A and press start. You should get the “level select” menu.

5)on the level select menu go to “sound test” item and play the sounds “04, 01, 02, 06” (you should get the music that you get when you get a chaos emerald)

6)now just select any stage, get 50 rings and jump. Super sonic time.

If you really want to get fancy, on the level select menu go to the sound test item and type in the numbers “01, 09, 09, 01, 01, 02, 04” (do this after you punch in the Super Sonic code) then select your level, hold A and press start. You’ve just enabled the “level construct” or “debug” code. Press B and you’ll become a ring, you can shuffle through items using the A button and create them using the C button.

So, you can create hundreds of rings (999 is the limit you can make), or create a whole bunch of enemies (if you make the vertical flying robotic fish you can jump into them and earn free lives if you kill enough of them), or make a whole bunch of springs and have fun bouncing all over the place, basically you can do whatever you want. You can also not be killed while in “item” mode and can fly through walls, over pits, basically skip to any point in the level that you want.

Now, if I could only use my powers of remembering useless information for good. LOL.

As for favorite games (in no particular order)

-Street Fighter series
-Mario Kart Series
-GTA series
-Goldeneye 64
-Mario 64
-Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PS1)

Did anyone enjoy LoZ:Link to the past?

I’m more of a fan of the classics:

-Chrono Trigger [SNES]
-Mega Man X, X2, X3 [SNES]
-Donkey Kong Country I, II [SNES]
-Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City [PS2]
-Pokemon [Red, Blue; GB]
-Zelda: Link’s Awakening [GB]
-MK II, Ultimate MK III [Sega]
-Star Wars: Battle Front II [PS2]
-Halo I, II [X-Box]
-Super Smash Bros. [N64]
-Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition [Sega]

Gran Turismo 3
Metroid
Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out
Fallout 2
Mario Kart Wii

Question…how could they get Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas so right to the point that DAYS were lost on that game…and then get GTAIV so “less than”?

GTASA was funny. You could spend weeks just running from rival gang members. I felt none of that in the last one.

For PC:

Half Life 1
Fallout 1 & 2
Diablo II

I downloaded Civilization 4 a few months back to see what all the hype was about(since many sites claim it as the #1 game of all time) and its pretty fun.

My favorites:

Final Fantasy III
Chrono Trigger
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Secret of Mana
Bubble Bobble

I liked San Andreas over the rest (without a second thought) because the environment and overall construction of the map was brilliantly done. It just felt like you were in that LA Haze. New York City is cool and all that (and I liked the new driving engine they used for GTAIV,) but nothing can touch San Andreas.

Although there were some ridiculously hard/absurd missions in GTASA.

That’s what I’m talking about.

I haven’t played it about a year because it won’t play on my ps3.

I wish they would release a version for it.

A want to buy a good racing game for 360 so me and my girl can play each other. Suggestions? I really like the gran turismo games.

Good game, but it definitely would not make my favourite list, so many other better Zelda games.

Also GTASA was a great game: 6th on my list, when I heard they took out the countryside in GTA4 I cried.

I think the new project gotham is pretty cool.

Pretty much all the best games have been mentioned so…

Dungeon Keeper PC
Magic Carpet PC
Bionic Commando on the Nes

Good to see Twisted Metal 2, and Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night, getting some recognition. I lost hundreds of hours to those two games.

  1. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (achieved like 204% or something like that)
  2. Twisted Metal 2
  3. God of War I and II- Kratos should be the Official T-Nation Spokesperson.
  4. Gears of War 2
  5. Metal Gear Solid (fighing Psycho Mantis was the shit!)

One game I’m ashamed I could never finish: Resident Evil 4. Not sure why, I’ve picked it up four or five times, but never gotten beyond about 3 hours in.

The resident evil games are great,I was looking at ps2’s on amazon today and thinking about buying one and all the RE’s plus some others.

Guild Wars
Diablo(s)
Warcraft 3
Killzone 1
Soul Calibur(s)

Man, I forgot about the Soul Caliburs. That’s probably the longest running series I’ve been playing since it came out on Dreamcast. Though my brief experience with IV left a bad taste in my mouth. It feels like they took the speed out of it and favored a more Virtua Fighter experience.

There are far too many to make a list or anything, but probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing a game(or I suppose games in this case) was playing Spies vs. Mercs in Splinter Cell 2 and Splinter Cell 3. I sincerely hope for a 2 on 2 Spies vs. Mercs mode in Splinter Cell 5.

WTF?
