Read through a couple pages of responses and haven’t seen budweiser, it’s all I drink.

How much do you pay for it? I ask only because I can urinate in a bottle and pour some rubbing alcohol in there and sell it to you for half of what you’re already paying.

Win-win.
Good idea. Add in a little vomit to that mix and you have Miller Chill.

I’m poor so I tend to go with whatever deals are at the bar.’

But if it’s payday, I’ll usually start with a Red Stripe. mmmm.

In light of the recent “normal guy” thread, I reminded myself of this nice youtube remix.

I am extremely pissed off because the price of beer just started to go up and according to my source it will continue to go up. The reason for this is because of the fuckhead politicians pushing ethanol and the hops growers switching over to corn.

Anyway, I’ve been drinking Brooklyn brewery lately. It’s awesome.

I like darker beers like Guinness and Hobgoblin. The best I’ve ever had was Trappist Westvleteren though. Right now I’m on a Red Seal binge. If you haven’t tried it, you need to.
God damn you you son of a bitch. I’ll give you $50 for a bottle. I was in Belgium and couldn’t even find this shit.

Have you ever had anything from Omegang? They are owned by the same company that makes Duvel, but it’s based somewhere in NY I believe. It’s the best American Belgian beer I’ve had.

i gotta go with the classic- Guinness Stout. (bottle)

check this site out if you like lots of different kinds of brew: http://www.briansbelly.com/

Blue Moon

I’m a huge fan of Shinerbock, can’t really get it here in Hawaii however, so I’ve been brewing my own form of it…it’s not quite as good as the real deal IMO, but it works…I’m a little better at dark ales though I’m going to do a porter for my next batch.

Kona Brewing put out a good porter a couple months ago and Rogue brewing out of Oregon does a nice Hazelnut Brown Ale. Widmer has a good milk stout (Snowplough) which is pretty tasty

one alibi, I have to second an earlier recommendation for Samuel Smith’s Nut Brown Ale, that is some good stuff, but I can’t always find it either

A lot of you who like the dark beers would like Aventinus or Delirium Nocturnum.

I found two new ones that are pretty good:
Delirium Tremens
Mannequin Pis

Boddington’s is also good.

You mean the one made with coffee? I had one six pack and thought it was excellent.
That’s the one, its called Pipeline Porter and originally it was intended to be a one-time thing, but given the popularity it has enjoyed here I think it may stick around or at least become a seasonal brew of theirs.

You’re not saying that Tremens is better than Nocturnum are you? No way man. It is good though.

My list:

St. Bernardus abt. 12
Corsendonk Pater
Rogue Chocolate Stout (can’t drink a lot cause it’s too sweet and I don’t drink it regularly, but it tastes like some really high end chocolate I had in Belgium)
Saxo

Red Hook has a beer called Black Hook that’s made with coffee as well. It’s more common and a pretty good beer.

I like both. I prefer the tremens, though.
