You are very good at the internetz. Possibly a master.

I disagree with the discussion of what constitutes a “pile” of sandwiches though.

For the sake of standardization and simplicity, a pile should maintain or be in as close a proximity as possible based on the cross sectional area of the loaf used to make the slices, to the golden ratio and Fibonacci sequence derived from it.

That way you can have piles of varying sizes that would still meet the requirements of a pile, regardless of the actual number of sammiches.

Agree?

oh noes!!!

THAT, Madame OG is CLEARLY a Stack! Complete verticality = Stack.

and I’m afraid thats the end of my mathz.

There is blame on doctors even when it is past the prevention stage. No one is saying this girl is without blame. BUT, surgery may not have been the best recourse in her case. Surgery was suggested to her by the docs. You see that right?

So, they didn’t treat her actual problem of overeating and not being active. Instead they cut her up in surgery and said “TAH DAH!” you are fixed.

Obviously not.

Although I don’t know everything the doc suggested, I see surgery was the suggestion that was chosen.

But it really didn’t fix her.
I find it difficult to blame a surgeon for treating a problem that surgery can help with surgery.

The fact that she needs psychological help is a different job for another professional.

This is like blaming the mechanic for fixing a persons car after it has been wrecked once then once again, while with holding or ignoring the fact that it was wrecked in a DUI.

The thing is, she didn’t go see a psychologist, she went to a surgeon.
I understand where a surgeon isn’t a psychologist, but I also know that they, ESPECIALLY in cases such as this, are trained to assess a person and suggest psychological counseling if needed. Such was this case. The kid needed it. In such cases a surgeon would be remiss to just dive in and perform the surgery. There is no mandatory surgery wherein a surgeon MUST perform a surgery.

Like you, I do not know what psychological counseling was offered to this person.

BUT, a surgeon does have a duty to assess and advice in such obvious cases.

or this pile?

Fancy British Pile
I would consider them piles, but they would have to be categorized as non-standard.

The Fancy British Pile does have some great aesthetic qualities, and I would definitely want to eat it.

Developing styles of piles and presentation themes based on them could develop into its own school of culinary architecture.
You know what I liked, the soup or chili or whatever in the fancy cup. I would be all over this tray of food.

Pretty gets eaten.

CURSES!!!

then I do believe the interwebz Godz say you owe us ignorants a pic of said PILES

I contend that a pile is a quantity of sandwiches thrown together in a heap or mound…

BEHOLD! For it has both height and width!

YES THIS IS A PILE!!!

(the other one was simply a stack - no breadth)

Some people are better left to die. After all in order to evolve as a species the weak have to die.
All these medical procedures just derail the natural process of letting people rot into the ground.
One reason is that people are too emotional and try to save everything, help everything, and inject chemicals into everything that we think needs help.

Ever seen elephants let their young die? They usually do everything they can to protect their young
but when they see a calf that is not gonna make the journey they leave it behind and get on with their lives.

Some people should be left behind so nature can take its course.

fella…you are not exactly right. In higher order mammals they do assist wounded or debilitated members.

You seen totally ignorant so I am going to go out there and let you know we are the only species that seems to have advanced medical capabilities. YOU seem stupid and not know that monkeys do treat injured members. So you know, many species take in the young of others.

Hey how about you detail your life and pics on here and let us dissect that?

Big difference between wounded and not being able to complete the journey.
Monkeys dont put their wounded on life support. Id like to see that.
Plenty of people would be dead right (or never born) now if it wasnt for medical advances.
But if our medicine werent so advanced plenty of animals would thrive.
Dont assume that i think that everything with a broken bone is good as dead.

fella… dont get so emotional

Hmm. Don’t know if I would eat it or try to solve it.

Default to eating. Thinking too much makes me hungry.

For those who say to leave her alone and let her die…

If that was YOUR daughter, and someone said to you, “Well, you can’t help some people! Wanna join us for a beer?” Would you NOT punch that fucking cunt in the face?

Or would you say, “You’re right, brah. Can’t help my daughter. I’ll let her die!”

Although the phylogeny of the sandwich ring is questionable, it has been traced back to the time of Brunelleschi. Previous incarnations of the basic form and function are rumored to have existed, but as yet there is no proof of this. Apparently the sandwich ring was often eaten soon after its creation, thus the historic accuracy of anything that predates the 15th century known to many in civilized Europe as “La grande epoca di panini turno” is questionable, but it is reasonable to assume that there were in fact round sandwiches before this period.

Though modern incarnations share the same design, it is said that in their heyday, some of the great panini measured up to 16 feet in diameter and took up to a week to consume, usually during periods of festivity and courting ritual.

On a more serious note…

Without divulging a too much, I have a vested interest in helping people who want help from self destructing through various means.

Sometimes people do exactly that, right before my very eyes, and there is not a fucking thing that anybody can do to stop them.

It ain’t nice, and it certainly doesn’t tickle any body’s ears to say it, but Yes, after all the help that is available is given, received, then twisted and turned into something it was never intended to be, sometimes you just have to accept the fact that some people self destruct and end their lives through their own actions.

Emotions are a funny thing.
Anything that you created or is close to you is an emotional subject.
Thats why its easy to hate people that you arent related to or friends with.
Cant tell you i would and cant tell you i wouldnt.
I think that if there were only 10,000 humans in the world i would see death differently
but theres billions of people so 1 dead person even 1000 dead people dont even make a dent in the population.

“If he dies, he dies” perfect time to quote that oh yeaaahh

What a horribly insensitive, and disgusting take on things. I really hope you are not this heartless in real life. If so, then I feel sorry for those around you.
