what up fellas, I’m 15 5’10 196 pounds, 31% bf ( yes a fatty ). Anyways So I was looking for a good diet, and I found the anabolic Diet. It seems real legit, and was thinking about doing it. Before I do it i have a few questions:
-Is there any risks of intaking all that fat at my size (i mean i am 31% bf)?
What will happen if I do the anabolic Diet for 3 months, then switch to a well balanced diet with carbs?
I told my father about this diet, and he asked his freind (happens to be a very successful surgeon) about the diet, and he said that the creator of the diet died and is heart was all messed up. Last time I check DR. P was still alive, could he be talking about some one else?
That Dr. is referring to Dr. Adkins of the Adkins diet (which is like the AD without the carb-up days. However, it’s a common misconception that Adkins died of heart problems, he actually slipped and hit his head.
As for your questions, the best resource is the book, it lays everything out. Let me know if you don’t have the book yet.

Once you start the AD you will never get a novice person to believe you are not doing Atkins. That’s all they can relate “low carb” to. Be prepared to have to explain to EVERYONE that it’s in fact not Atkins.
Follow a low carb diet, with healthy fats, and SOME saturated fats. Eat plenty of fish oils…and dont carb up. At your bf level, you dont NEED any carbing up.
Eat roughly 50% Protein, 50% fats OR 1.5-1.75g/lb for protein, and 0.5-0.75g/lb fat…Once you get to a far lower bf level, you can begin a small carb up once a week, of maybe 150g or so…until you get to a good 10%, then You can either introduce carbs back into ur diet slowly, when needed or go low carb, with a clean carb up day.
