Fat on Nutrition Labels

This may be a dumb question, but hey, I don’t know the answer, so I’m going to ask anyway.

A lot of times, you look at a nutrition label, and the fat content is listed along with how much of that fat is saturated as well as trans fat.

So, for example, ranch dressing may say 14 g of fat, with 2.5 of it being saturated, 0 trans, and leaving a balance of 11.5 g.

Is it safe to assume that balance is made up of some form of poly or mono unsaturated fats? Or is it something else unhealthy?

Yes.
