Ink - My pride and some sort of sadistic pleasure/pain thing is keeping me rolling. The more I do this program the more I think your a closet sadist too And fuck you on week 3. If you can do it, I can do it. Starts wednesday. It’s on!
LilP: pausing at the knees and then pulling full rom, stopping for a one count. It’s not that long. Not sure if style matters. I’m doing them sumo cause that’s my regular deadlift form. The paused deads is a real challenge. If you want to step away from your max pulls and still make things tough.
Recovery so far is OK. I’m always going in a little sore unless I had a 2 day break. This is the only program where I felt the need to foam roll and stretch on off days to keep things from tightening up. Also as I’ve mentionned I wouldn’t do this program and count calories.
Edgy - Ink can call me anything he damn wants as a brother LWI.
Up - Hi gorgeous, I miss your log. what have you been up to?

This is the first program where I need to roll my chest and triceps due to the benching.

I hadn’t really given this program any serious consideration, personally (I know Inky says it’s super easy to follow, but I don’t know, seems complicated) but THIS sentence makes me think twice about it.
Forgot to mention, I googled raclette, and I’m not a cheese girl, but this looks pretty fantastic!
As do you! YES to the picture, very nice woman, very nice indeed!!
Lula - figuring out the program is the easy part! lol. Seriously get a hardcover lined booklet and write it out based on your maxes. I have the whole 29 planned out and ready to go. It took me maybe 20 minutes to do. All you need is a calculator.
Joe - I’m getting used to it. The issue is not the volume (I could squat for an hour ramping up on 5/3/1) it’s the going back to squat after working out for 2 hours when your energy tank is on empty. It forces you to push the limits. The volume is always around 70-80% of your max which is doable. By the end I really need to focus but I’ve never had to bail out so far. Also the hip flexor is holding up nicely, no pain at all. Looks like max weight was more of a problem than reps.
Mims- no fatty, meant it as a joke to counteract all the dieting and “fitness” shit going on in what is called POWERFUL Women after all.
Edgy - lol!!! get me a coffee and you’re forgiven. Seriously the rules of LWI brotherhood are simple. Big weights above all goals, leanness is never a priority. A powerlifting meet once in a while for street cred. You could easily join rather than whine from the sidelines.
Kev- shit brickhouse adjective adopted with pride.
Ink - I don’t have a droid, but a silly old calculator does the trick too.
