My take on the paused deads are that it breaks the lift into two part, just like pausing a bench or a paused squat. You stop the momentum of the lift and then restart it. The next time you do them, it should be deadlift to knees, then benching, then full ROM deads (if you’re doing #29, W2D2 session has that-which I’m doing tonight, in fact). The regular deadlifts will feel super fast, and awesome.

Downed a stronger pre-workout than I usually go for in the hope of pushing through these faster. Today was done in 1.5hrs. Much better.
