Will obediently follow.
You’re gonna crush it man ![]()
@kindaichishota excellent , excellent. By following me, you will be able to access powers beyond your wildest dreams and destroy the jedi scum.
@duketheslaya Thanks man i appreciate it! the events are Max Log, Max Tire Deadlift, Axle Squats for reps, and a stone series. so we will see how it all goes
No worries man!
Sounds pretty similar to the strongman show i went to in november (i spectated). The axle squat is probably the most brutal one of those 4.
For real, Im gonna be fried after this one. I also have no idea what the weight is gonna be, so thatll be a good time.

I will be competing at 220lbs, currently weigh in around 226lbs, so it will be an easy cut with weigh ins saturday morning. Cut my water intake in half for today, will weigh in tomorrow morning to see where im at and then ill have one bottle(12 fl. ounce) throughout the day to stay sane. Will be in the sauna if need be by the end of the day.
Dawn of the Final Day(Contest Day Recap)
Saturday(1/20)
Got to the comp around 8:30am, upon entering the gym the first thing I saw was a group of men all wearing kilts and I knew right then that I was losing the style portion of the competition. But that did not deter me, I put all my stuff in a corner and immediately weighed in so I could get started with getting rehydrated and some food in me. Made the cut at 219.4lbs, so my struggles had paid off. First thing I did after was chug half a bottle of Pedialyte and eat a meal replacement bar. Felt better after that. After the rules briefing around 9am, had about 30mins to warm up before my weight class would be up. Countinued sipping on the Pedialyte, while also drinking some redbull with creatine that I had scooped into it. Then it was my time to shine.

Recap
- Definitely need to train more with the log and stone, cause i had to the strength to do more in each event but i just did not have the technique
- Could have gotten a couple more reps in with the squat, but i hesitated after my 9th rep even though i had plenty of time left. Next comp, balls till the wall till the ref blows the whistle. 100% focus till i drop.
- Even though there is room for improvement, I am still proud of how I competed. I have never touched half of these implements and still did fairly well across the board. Have never gone about 430lbs for a single with squat and I got 10 fucking reps with 450lbs.(@duketheslaya you were right about this event though, got tunnel vision once I finished and almost passed out). Never held 600+lbs in my hands before with the deadlift and I crushed it.
- All in all, it was a good fucking day.
Thats wicked man! 3rd place is awesome. You moved some big fucking weights.
And Great job on that squatting too. It sure is one ugly event lol
Several people puked, some cried, popped blood vessels everywhere, it was truly a sight to see.
BRUHHHH 450x10!!! Here I was feeling good about 325x12… That is absolutely insane. How much did you miss 2nd place by in each event? You didn’t seem to be all that far behind first place in any of them honestly…
Also: adopt the Eddie Hall mentality. Dude is by far my favorite strongman (although I have nothing against Shaw or Bjornsson) and he’s always competing with them even though he’s only 6’3 and they’re 6’8 and 6’9.
No doubt in my mind you’re taking first next time. I hope you had fun though, sounds like a great time!!!
Hell yeah man, I appreciate that. It was awesome, there were some strong mofos there. Seeing the SHWs go at it was a sight to see.
Me and the guy who came in second were pretty much neck and neck the entire comp, but he ended up getting first in the yoke(second place got 100ft) and he came in second for the stones(Beat me by 1 rep i believe) which put him ahead of me.
This is probably what I am most proud of, i thought i would get 1 or 2 at best haha. Me and the guy who won overall were the only ones able to get more than 1.
