Fantasy Football

I have the 1st round draft pick for my leagues Fantasy Football I know who to pick in the first round we have 10 teams all together the question is should I draft a QB or a RB in the second round or WR. I am supposing most would say a RB. But, a 1st round WR or QB maybe hold some value in my league.

Pick the best player available. In the second round that could be a RB, but certain QBs (Dante, Manning) and WRs (Moss, Holt) begin to be plausible options. Make sure you get your 2nd RB soon thereafter, though.

Why don’t you pick a kicker in the second round like you did last year?

LOL. EC I wasn’t taking our leauge seriously since it was free and I want to try diffrent things…

I have a Yahoo league with some openings in it. I can PM the sign up info if anyone here is interested in joining.

In Yahoo, the scoring system favours Holmes-type numbers (more TD’s than yards). But LT seems to be the safer pick as Holmes’ age and injury history have some shying away. I got LT 3rd in one of my pools (someone auto-drafted Trent Green 2nd!).

As for the second round, If everyone does as they ‘should’ and takes a RB, then target either the top WR or the Top QB available. If guys like Moss, Culpepper and Manning are gone in the first round, take another RB (assuming there’s two RB spots, but you can also trade an Rb for a need).

Guys like Chris Brown in Tennessee can be had in the mid rounds and he’s a feature back, so all’s not lost if you don’t get a RB early.
