I actually hate being near the sandwich pick, especially in bigger leagues. 30 guys will be off the board between my picks, makes it impossible to guess who will make it to me. Have to way overdraft some guys I like if I want to get them.

I’ll just go cry with Adrian Peterson/Jamaal Charles/Chris Johnson/whoever I take 2nd. I may even buy a jersey of my 2nd overall pick and post pics in this thread of me wearing it.

Agreed… I might get one stud and two solid guys in this position, which I like better than the end of the round where you’ll get two semi-studs and crappy 3rd/4th rounders.

I was very tempted to re-randomize it since I got the damned last pick, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Having the order a couple days before will be epic, and will allow everyone to develop a loose strategy of who/what their going after (especially for this deep 16 team league) and possibly fantasize about who they might get…BOOM

KC Masterpiece and Skull Crushers, I havent received the money, this is according to my records, again I have spoken to Ddot (skull crushers) but I dont have anything wherein KC has paid, that is why if you can tell me your TN name I could double check.

Honestly, with how deep this draft will be, I don’t think any of the picks are better than the others. Even the so called top backs aren’t that safe this year. Johnson has no contract, Peterson has no line, Charles has only done it for one year, it’s a very uncertain field.

I also think it will be much better having to fill our rosters with deep sleepers, as opposed to the normal drafts where everyone simply fills their rosters with the top starters.

I can’t wait to get this thang started…

Charles also doesn’t get many goal line carries… Johnson just seems too tiny to hold up for a 4th straight year… Foster has only done it once - plus he’s Arian Foster… there’s an argument for Vick at #1 if you could guarantee his health… etc

edit - I forgot Peterson who I owned last year and am a little scarred from it.

Yea the RB crop is so uncertain and the WR crop is so loaded.

I honestly like Charles best out of anybody in the top four, and then I’d probably put Vick behind him (simply because of how many more points he scored over the next best QB last year).

Wearing a Vick jersey in public though is still going to be rough…

^^^The problem is you know Vick’s gonna miss 4 weeks, you just don’t know which 4. Also I can’t help but look at that career completion percentage and wonder if last year is repeatable.

Foster also has an insane work ethic, ESPN did a great piece on him last year, and after reading that and seeing his performance on the field, I have great admiration for what he’s about and what he wants to do.
