I got into NFL last year after learning the rules and this year i’ve ented a small league with a few mates that are all pretty competitive about it. Since I know next to nothing about the sport I was hopeing to get some help or ideas about how it works and what to look for when drafting players.
I normally ever year start a NFL, College football and Fantasy football thread.
Important questions:
- How are the points set up? Points per catch? Points per carry/yard?
- How many guys?
- Do you have a favorite team?

OP, it’s a blast but aggravating at times. I went homer last year and picked guys on my team and it didn’t work out so hot, then again it could have gone well, fucking O-Line but I digress.

all the major sportsmedia sites (ESPN, Yahoo Sports, CBS, Fox etc) publish decent enough fantasy football content, predraft advice etc
and if one’s trying to pay for “expert-level” analysis, those sites out there too

Dude making it into the playoffs when auto picked me 3 kickers and fucking Peyton Manning was the accomplishment of my Fantasy football career.
Watch this year when we do it, I will get a stud team and fucking bomb.

I like the stealers, its standard rules as far as im aware and its a 10 team league we are doing the draft in aug but im trying to learn now, from what ive been told the qb is the most important draft is that right

If QB’s 1 thru 5 are available in the first round, take one. Otherwise pick the best RB you can find.
