I’m very flexible and diplomatic. But, when it becomes a power struggle between me an them… I ALWAYS win. As long as you follow the rules, then you’re golden.
I tell them if Blank doesn’t change, then you’ll be disciplined. (And, you HAVE to follow through.) Very simple.
I hate to listen to people complaining about stupid shit as much as the next person, but I think FML is just an expression that we are going to have to get used to. It reminds me of when I was younger and we always used to say “fuck me gently with a chainsaw”. It’s practically the same thing.

Reminds me of a manager that needs managed. Conflict resolution is part of the jod sir. Learn to do it properly and how to have happy employees (because they produce more) but draw the line. There is a difference between being thier friend and thier boss. I may be wrong but I’m going to guess that you were thier peer before thier boss?
