F*c* Transformers

Give me Shogun Warriors. If you where growing up in the 80’s you probably remeber these 3ft tall plastic robots on rollar skates, they where awesome they shot out plastic missles that you could choke on because it was the 80’s and damnit we loved it.

Well finally the granddaddy of all mecha’s is coming to the big screen in live action. Since I am computer stupid here’s the link with the test footage for the film. Fanboi’s unite Gaiking and other Shogun Warriors are in our Future!

I hope this becomes a big hit, I have the original Marvel issues of this comic book 1-10. It’s value will skyrocket!

Warner Brothers has acquired the rights to produce a live action Robotech film with Tobey Maguire, Akiva Goldsman, and Jason Netter attached as producers.

It was confirmed that WB has hired, Ian Fleming Award winning novelist, Tom Rob Smith as a screenwriter for the live action film, joining previously announced writers, including Lawrence Kasdan, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Smith wrote the New York Times bestselling novel Child 44.

WB and Harmony Gold have also entered into a merchandising agreement for Robotech.

Robotech was epic when I was a kid, I hope they don’t screw it up.
