Extremely High E2 Levels

I just started TRT
I have been reading these forums for quite some time and have learned a tremendous; still realize I know fawk all tho
My Bioavailable T Levels were 3.4nmol/L. This was taken after a 12hr fast (nit sure if that helps) Ideal range according to my Dr is 17-18nmol/L

I was supposed to have a full / comprehensive panel done but they neglect to check Prolactin and E2 Levels
I was started on 200mg Test Cyp split into 2 injections, Monday/Thursday (this was requested by me; they wanted to do 400mg/2weeks???)

Anyways, I am the who enquired about the possibility of the Aromitazing Enzyme and if I needed to have an AI run alongside, you dhould see the look I get
Anyways, I’m told I should be fine so I requested a Prolactin and E2 bloodlab be done (this is 2 weeks after starting injections that I get tested)

My Prolactin levels were 25ug/L and E2 a whopping 384pmol/L. For some odd reason they did not run a Bioavailable Test to see where I am at
It’s nothing short of a cluster fawk and I am already pursuing the help of a much more qualified BHRT Dr
Please help!!!

After my bloodwork and high E2 levels I think I left my Dr confused as to what to do. I lost ALL trust at this point now
I think I should self medicate myself with Arimidex for now and use this Dr for tracking my bloods until I can get in to see my new Dr who I am booked mid June
I can just get some legit Arimidex from a good friend and start dosing at .25-.5ED/EOD; NOT exactly sure where to start. Any suggestions

It really is s suckass situation. I started loosing trust in my Dr’s comptence right before I started pinning nd feel kind’a like I’d be better off taking the bull by the horns here on out
KSAM? Anyone?
You guys on here seem to provide the most assuring info from my searches on the net

Some questions I assume may be asked:
I HAVE noticed an increase in strength and weight gain (3-1/2 weeks in now), not much bloating but extremely tired ALL the time, almost fever-like (just burning up feeling), testiculat atrophy (expected this), no difficulty maintaining an erection but flat out exhaust myself during sex and have a difficult time ejaculating
I hope my post isn’t too personal or scattered to read

You should probably cut your T dose in half. 200mg a week is a lot. Taking just what you need to get T in a healthy range will make chasing E2 much easier.

I agree with dhickey. More T is not always better. It’s hard to tell how high your E2 really is without a reference range but with the symptoms you describe it definitely sounds like high E2. The suggested protocol is 100mg/week with 1mg/week of Anastrozole in divided doses. HCG is optional. Remember that almost all the guys on here struggled to find the protocol that worked for them. It takes time.

Thank you.

My Dr has no idea what he is doing and I can seemingly sway him into anything, lol. I think I wanted to do 200mg/week to hit the upper end of Test levels thinking I would feel best and pack on muscle quickly

I think I’ll take your advise and dial everything back and add the Arimidex in and carefully monitor my progress

Thank you

Will be cutting my Test Cyp back to 100mg/week

100mg split in two weekly doses is a good starting point. Some need a bit more, some a bit less. Only testing will tell.
