Extremely Frustrated - What is Going On?

You will with 8 weeks. But you can recovery fertility later on with HCG with a good chance of success depending on how long you’ve been shut down. There is no 100% guarantee you will gain fertility back, but chances are pretty good. There is always a risk. You can always get some sperm frozen as a safeguard, but there isn’t a 100% guarantee with that either.

Absolutely not. You need good levels of E along with high T.

In fact I am actively investigating ways to INCREASE E2 in my case, being a subjectively low aromatiser when injection frequency is high and IM.

Subjectively high E2 along with high T = insane libido and confidence for me.

So wouldn’t it make sense to add in a low dose of HCG so I can maintain it and have a better chance? Probably going to try for 2 kids in the next 3 years.

If you or the woman in your life would be destroyed if you couldn’t have a baby because you went on TRT, then I’d just wait, 3 years is not that long at your age. There is a small chance you won’t get fertility back, so you need to weight the pros and cons.

Feeling like shit for 3 years and ruining my relationship because I’m a shell of a man also doesn’t sound like a great option.

Freeze some sperm to up your odds. Not guaranteed, but pretty close to it with both HCG and backup sperm.

To answer your other question. I honestly don’t know is starting with HCG helps your odds compared to adding it later. It’s a good question that I don’t have experience with.

@equel was your reply sarcastic or you actually meant it?

I recall you being against AIs and managing estradiol on TRT.

My Free T is more of the issue. It’s near the bottom. I do get physical activity and play basketball several times a week and light weight lifting. The issue is my energy levels are so poor it’s hard to be motivated to do anything. I’m going to try the 80MG a week to start with no AI and see how I feel in 3 months.

Well 3 months is here. I’ve been taking 80MG a week plus .25 of AI. I just did labs yesterday and am waiting on results (I included a thyroid option to see where everything is at). So far the pro’s of being on TRT have been my mood seems more stable and I have slightly more energy, I’d say my libido improved by maybe 20%. The cons: My sleep is still hit or miss, I have had a little bit of restless leg syndrome pop up, I’m waking up in the middle of the night to pee a lot more for some reason (2-3x usually), out of the 3 months I’ve had maybe 4 instances of morning wood, and I’m still not that interested in sex.

Not unrelated.

What was interesting though was when I was on 1MG a week of AI and my e2 was at 6 I was sleeping more soundly and not waking up. It seems like the lower my estrogen is the less I get up to pee.

There is another issue at play with your sleep. If you are getting up, you are not entering REM sleep. When you hit REM sleep your processes slow down, like urine generation, to permit you to stay there and allow your brain to recover from the day’s abuse. The peeing is usually a symptom of that, and not the cause of the sleep issue.

If I were you I would drop the AI and see how you feel. My libido and erections came back 100 percent 5 or 6 weeks after I dropped my AI. Ive had no issues related to high estrogen. Feel much better overall.

I think AI’s will no longer be prescribed at some point in the future. Its just gonna take a long time for the medical community to wake up and realize that it is a toxic drug. That is not needed in most cases

Check out the youtube channel trt and hormone optimization. They have a bunch of very informative videos on AI’s and estrogen.

I had this problem when injecting 1-2 times weekly, as I moved to smaller more frequent injections, the sleep improved. My libido is also much higher on more frequent injections. If you are injecting 80mg once weekly, I’ll bet this is your problem and your levels are tanking in the latter half of the week.

I’m doing 40MG on Mondays and 40MG on Thursdays.

80mg a week is your problem. You need a little more. You can increase to 125mg and the difference wont be a disruptor. 80mg a week is a tease. Its simply not enough to calm your body and mind.

Youre on the mark, but the problem is he is not optimized and women take advantage of that. Women want to breed at all costs. When youre low on androgens, they will take your weak seed and work their ass off to make stronger offspring. In essence better than you. So its not his choice really. Once youre optimized they want your seed to duplicate you. It’s nature. His best option is to freeze some sperm and focus on his present body. Bitches be bitches is what people have been saying for years.

@coldstate
Drop the AI and in time you’ll feel better. You’re at such a low dose of TRT you can’t need it. You’ve convinced yourself along the way that you do so you’ll look for any reason to do it even though it’s likely causing a negative effect or at best no effect whatsoever.

I think I’m going to try going up to 120MG a week.

Good move
