Correct me if I’m wrong but it sounds like the guy did some shit a decade a go and served time for it.
Now, he gets a sucky ass job(I know I used to do it) to basically tell the world, “Hey, I’m trying to turn my life around”, and now because of two bitch ass females who felt they were “entitled” and would not face any consequence because they are females, decided to instigate and escalate the situation, now he’s facing more time??
If you don’t think that’s fucked up, FUCK YOU!
The guy is not a saint, but come on.
The fact that he’s making moves to better himself is admirable in itself! And now that’s being taken away from him because he was defending himself?
The law is bullshit sometimes, and any reasonable human being should acknowledge what the man was trying to do and spare him some.
Illogical.
Taking your position to its logical conclusion, if anyone attacks or threatens you, you have license to maim or potentially murder. Is that your position? Because the guy did fracture the one woman’s skull. She did not brandish a weapon. She was not larger than he. And her skull is fractured and you don’t see that he may have crossed a line?
He may have been trying to turn his life around. True. And yes, he was put into a bad situation that he was ill-equipped to handle for any number of reasons. But handle it badly he did. And now he has to pay for his actions. We are all accountable for our actions.
We are all accountable for our actions, yes, but what I’m trying to say is that at least take into effect that this guy is trying to turn his life around.
And he killed a person a decade ago and served his time, but everyone deserves a second chance. It wasn’t like this guy was slanging coke on the corner and these two hooligans attacked him, NO.
All I’m saying is, look at what he was doing. He was doing something positive. He never asked to be put in that situation, and he defended himself the way he knew how.
At least he didnt pour some frying oil on them.
I wish he hit that fucking white lady…I hate people like that. Like what the fuck is yelling stop going to do. God I hate people like that.

she knew she wasn’t gettin her McNuggets.
as for the video, excessive yes, but until you’re in that situation who are you to judge
BTW- I only say excessive b/c you can’t see what happened after they went down. I don’t blame him at all though.

How is this comparable? Its a robbery. No one is going to defend the robber. It also didn’t drag on, there were no bystanders to help. Too bad the old dude didn’t have a concealed carry and got up and shot the guy then we could have argued if it had been justified.

It’s not comparable, I just said there are a lot of videos of altercations in fastfood joints on youtube.
That’s it.
EDIT: I just threw it out there because this thread is dying down.

Oh gotya …I think its because there is a lot of video cameras and such there. I would expect more videos from England unless all those cameras video goes to some secret place.

You’re missing the point too which surprises me b/c we both know you’re a gun owner. This is not simple self defense as I’ve already explained. This is a an issue of deadly force.
Do you believe this was an encounter that justified the use of deadly force?
And do you think that deadly force was justified when they women were down?
I think I could easily make a good argument that this was not deadly force but I am watching the 49ers /Lions game and can’t multitask effectively.
You can try, but you’d be wrong. Legally.
But go ahead, entertain me ![]()
Deadly force includes the risk of serious bodily harm. She suffered a fractured skull.
Good luck with your argument. I look forward to your twisting, contorting and jiving ![]()

Signing a complaint does not compel a DA to charge. At least not in my part of the world. I know this for a fact.
Well, nowhere did I state that. But YOU CAN file a complaint and prosecute it yourself. Happens ALL THE TIME.

I don’t think anyone disagreed with any of the above points. But by all appearances, he did cross a line. It’s unfortunate yes, but he’s accountable. It’s real simple math. Not algebra here. Sucks for him but he made a poor choice. He definitely lost it.

Dude, I once pissed off a Japanese woman so much (simply by not calling her back after a date) that she broke into my apartment, hid in a kitchen cupboard - presumably for several hours - and started hurling my own dishes at me after I arrived home from work.
You seriously had the exact same thing happen to you. Wow, you people have weird problems.
IMO this absolutely constitutes lethal force. Striking someone in the head with a metal object forcibly enough to cause a fractured skull carries with it a reasonable expectation of causing grievous bodily harm or death, which constitutes lethal force where I come from.
As such this guy needs to show that he had a reasonable fear of suffering grievous bodily harm or death at the hands of his assailants if he hopes to be justified.
Seems like a stretch.
EDIT - “…absolutely constitutes lethal force.” there are few absolutes in this case. Poor choice of words. How about “very likely constitutes lethal force.”
Bc this thread needs some comedy…

Was his LIFE really in danger?
Just a heads up…but any time someone ATTACKS you, your life is potentially in danger unless you have done a weapons/cavity search, are aware of ALL the known aggressors in the area who may jump in later and know for sure how skilled your opponent is.
You can see all of this from that video?
What are you…psychic?
The woman easily could have been killed. 1, 2, 3 more blows and shes dead. The guy basically got lucky that he’s not facing his SECOND manslaughter charge/conviction.
If you really think a beating to the brink of death is required to defend one’s self after getting smacked in the face then youre a bigger pussy then you let on.
But Im glad that you informed us that getting slapped by a woman is now a life threatening situation. You dont have to be psychic to know that somoene who needed to be taken out of the place in an ambulance is no threat to your life.
The only reason you can make this argument is because it happened behind the counter. If this happened in front of the camera you’d actually see how heinous this was. You’d see the woman just laying there, not moving at all, taking shot after shot to her head and body. There’s simply no justification for beating someone to the brink of death as self defense for getting bitch slapped.

You asked if his life was in danger. The answer is “potentially yes”.
Not what you commented on and what I responded to.

The question was whether his life was at risk. The answer is, “potentially yes”. This is NOT about arm chair quarterbacking an event long after it took place.
It is great to be that self righteous though…seeing as how all of the instances this has happened to you can be watched via youtube for critique.
Link?

?
How would you know AHEAD OF TIME that she is unarmed and is no threat to life?
Please answer this.
Uh, gee, the fact that it DOES NOT HAPPEN ON CAMERA is the whole issue. That makes every comment about what happened back there an ASSUMPTION. It may be a valid assumption, but an assumption none the less.
