Evolution is Wrong?

True!

Now who is close minded and bigoted?

Easy answer …YOU!

You’ve been degrading creationist since you’ve been here. Then you fuck up assuming rainjack and I are one …after we BOTH told you we have no opinion on that and said “I don’t know”. Take that answer. Its the right one. Its the only one we gave you. Understand? Good!

merlin
Whether or not you believe in creationism is irrelevant. The creationist argument lives or dies on it’s own evidence.

If you use creationist evidence that is easily falsifiable, goes against the entire body of scientific evidence, and makes extraordinary claims with no extraordinary evidence as an attack on evolution, then you should expect to be flamed. Not because of your personal beliefs, but because of the weakness of your assertion.

So once again, if you are not a creationist, but put forth a stupid creationist argument as proof of something, then you shouldn’t get upset and take it personal when those creationist arguments are shown to be false. If you refuse to read the contrary evidence presented showing why the creationist argument is false , than you are also close minded.

This is what they resort to when all illogical reasoning has failed to elicit a mutable response.

Wait for it… the BIG swear words are next. You’re going to see just how low this mans IQ really is, as he continues to post and assault all those who disagree with his nonsense.

merlin

Your IQ failed you again. This is what I resort to when dealing with a full bore idiot.

So now someone with a higher IQ than you is an “idiot”? What does that make you? A bigger idiot? You’re drowning here.

You really have failed miserably to evoke any mutable response you may have been hoping for. Again your social skills are limited to only persuading those that are fossils or chimps.

merlin
I was being sarcastic, you douche bag. I think it is quite obvious that if you ever scored a 163 on an IQ test, you were probably taking the version meant for six year olds.

I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you really were more intelligent than 99.999% of the population. I doubt it more and more with every post you make.

As usual the evidence is ignored so it doesn’t fuck with their puzzle. So they just jam the peices anyway …even though they don’t fit.

What was wrong with this infomation and what the REAL SCIENTIST had to say about WHY evolution is impossible?

Man, that is fun. Now I see why you always just plagiarize and lie. It’s a lot easier!

You are the most immature 33 year old on the planet. Congratulations!

That’s enough for me. If you can’t post anything better than “I like having sex with goats while drinking a tall glass of man juice” …then I feel the need to pull the plug on this thread and your immaturity…

I am so very happy for not getting involved in this train wreck of a thread! Woo Hoo!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an evolution vs creationism debate go over very well here. I sure do enjoy them though. Way, more fun than youtube.

Here’s a question for you to ponder… name anything that evolution has proved wrong about the bible? Even I know the bible has been translated so many times that its true original meanings are probably lost. Has evolution even been able to put a dent in the misinterpreted bible?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm…

Well, bats clearly aren´t birds…

I think merlin has officially made the dumbest statements I’ve ever seen.

“With every word you say you prove me more right.” -Fitnessdiva (you couldn’t be any MORE clueless even if you had typed “more perfect”)

Comedy!

Comming from you Fitnessdiva, that is the best compliment I could receive from you. If you ever agreed with me or any of those REAL SCIENTIST in those papers …then you have permission to shoot me in the head, because I have now sunk to your level of ignorance.

I was wondering if you were as clueless as you look in your picture. It IS confirmed …you ARE! May God have mercy on your soul, someone had to be the test dummy. I guess you’re it.

If you understand or agree with any of my statements or the ones from those papers …refrain from agreeance. I don’t want to be part of whatever clueless group you’re part of. I’ll start from scratch again if I have to.

Flop Hat at least shown some level of intelligence, just not alot of room for other people’s opinion. You are a miracle, you show neither.

$50 says you don’t even believe in evolution yourself. You just like to ARGUE about it. You were never concearned with proving the theory right or wrong. You’re just looking for the special olympics ribbon for who can talk trash on the internet the longest. You win. I’m probably more concearned with proving evolution to have some merit than you are. Oh well, carry on.

There is no debate here. Just a special olympics race …the retards will win it, they always do. (no pun intended)

I don’t “believe” in evolution any more than I believe in plate tectonics, or gravity. You aren’t supposed to believe in them, they are models for explaining how some part of the universe works. No matter what your beliefs, you can gather the evidence and check them yourself. Evolution is a scientific fact.

There are people who use evolutionary theory everyday to design antibiotics, to fight viruses, and to study life on our planet. To deny it is silliness beyond silly. There may be another biological theory out there that will explain life on earth better than the current evolutionary theory, but it would probably be an upgrade, like relativity did for Newton’s laws, rather than an overthrow.

You are correct about me not being concerned about proving evolution. It has 200 years of survival as a scientific theory as proof far beyond any thing that I could add. The best I can hope for is to one day uncover a small piece of the puzzle.

If you were truly concerned about the origin of life on earth, you could easily take one or two biology classes and a geology class. Just that knowledge would be enough to show you that the idea of a young earth creation is preposterous. It would allow you to move on to more pressing questions, that might do humanity some good.

Your words remind me of a book I read about the letters that Richard Feynman received and replied to in the course of his career. Several of the letters were from people who had never taken a physics class, but somehow thought that they had proved some physical theory wrong, or that they had developed the grand unified theory.

They were, of course, all wrong. No one thinks that they could fly a helicopter without training, that they could conduct surgery without training, or that they could design a rocket motor without training. However, many think they can challenge the entire body of knowledge in several areas of science without having taken a single class.

I’m sorry that you think your brain power is sufficient enough alone to understand the universe. I can promise you it is not. There is too much that is counter intuitive and too much that requires extraordinary background knowledge.

I hope, that if you really want to increase your understanding, that you will read the actual science of evolution and not the same old creationist propaganda that has been debunked for so long. If you want some recommendations for reading materials, let me know. I have read many books on the subject, even the creationist ones.

Good luck on joining the rational thinkers!

Hey merlin this link is not working for me. I am happy to take a look at the information and what the REAL SCIENTISTS say but if it is anything like creationscience.com then I am not so sure about it. I can only comment on the Life Science section but there are many factual errors and there is a fundamental misundersanding of the theory of evolution by natural selection. As I have posted before, I am happy to try to clear some of this up. Just post a “point” or “hole in evolution” and ill do my best.

merlin, prove something wrong with evolution, go ahead.

And where did that water go?

Is the talk origins thing you pasted the one thing you would like to see rebutted FD?

I don’t want to speak on FD’s behalf, but I think we each had a question for merlin. She wanted to know where all the water from the flood went. I wanted to know how a global flood created the grand canyon, specifically how the flood created Oxbows, with cites of modern examples of this happening. If someone could answer those two questions as a start, I would be happy to discuss other problems with young earth creationism.
