What’s up guys? I’m new here and looking to get back into the gym. I’ve been out for years due to an injury (hormone related/ tumor). I’m currently on trt, small amounts of deca for joints, AI and 2iu hgh daily as well as proviron for a free T boost. I’m fine in that area now (just adding this info before people ask). I’m a newb all over again because it’s been so long. I want to build my own pre and post workout. If you guys could help me. I want to know everything that can be used in a pre and post workout (legally), how it can help and dosage needed. A lot of supplements are over priced when you can build it yourself and are lacking as well as overly dosed or underdosed. I’m collecting the powders from bulk supplements etc and want to put it together myself. Let’s also pretend that I have an ephedrine source available. Not saying I do, but with that in mind what would go good with my imaginary ephedrine?
This never works out less expensive. It’s been discussed over and over again and it just doesn’t work out. You will not get the same doses of the same ingredients and still save money. Unless you have specific reasons for avoiding specific ingredients, it’s not worth the hassle of Frankensteining your own mix.
Just use Plazma. It has cyclic dextrins for carbs, hydrolyzed casein for protein, and citrulline and betaine for performance and recovery. You could also add in creatine additionally. That’s all you’d need and want. If you’re looking for a stimulant, pop a NoDoz tab before training.
About 15% bodyfat. That would go good with ephedrine. As it stands now, you’re not even training and you’re carrying a bunch of body fat. You need ephedrine like I need a bigger parking spot for my Tesla. There’s no benefit to you using ephedrine now, and arguably not enough benefit to warrant using it down the road.
What does your diet and training plan look like? If those aren’t in place, then talking supplements is putting the cart way before the horse.

Basic. I don’t have anything written out at the moment. Just your typical eat clean, low sugar, homemade meals, chicken breast, bright green veggies, good carbs etc. 4 hours before bed I don’t eat any carbs or fats because of my hormone injection.

Fair enough. Even a small dose for the focus aspect should be avoided?
Focus on being consistent with a training plan and adjusting your nutrition as needed based on weekly progress before spending mental energy on the wide world of customizing workout mixes.
I have found that taking Ephedrine at 30% bodyfat is a recipe for ending up at 30% bodyfat with adrenaline desensitization and slowed metabolism. And its also really important at that bodyfat level to get lots of good sleep. Bad sleep=high cortisol=insulin resistance=metabolic syndrome.
Yeah man. I have hypopituitarism and couldn’t get any real help for the longest time. My sleep was absolutely awful. I’d wake up feeling like trash! The ephedrine was given to me by an ex pro bodybuilder friend of mine who told me to use it pre workout for the focus aspect of it.
I havn’t started training yet. I was just putting things together first. I’m planning on dropping a lot more fat before training with diet and walking. The tumor/ hormone imbalance really beat the snot out of me, so I’m taking it easy. I just got excited for the moment about the whole “build it yourself” pre and post workout lol
