Tricky question. Would there be any advantages/disadvantages to choosing T. propionate over T. Cypionate when doing everyday injections? T. propionate has a half-life around 2 days while T. cypionate has a half-life around 8 days. Would one aromatize more than the other? Does anyone have any personal experience using both for everyday injections?
Iāve seen quite a few folks have less than ideal outcomes using propionate for TRT. Almost all eventually go to longer esters. The point of daily shots as you see some here doing for TRT is using the longer esters more frequently to create a flat line vs waves on a chart.
Whether daily shots are right for you only you can answer that. Trial and error like everything else TRT related. I will add that from my experience it took 2 months before daily shots started to have a positive effect.
Iāll add that I switched back from prop. Too much up and down. No pain but I was getting nodules that were a little unsettling. I feel way better on cyp. Figure thereās a reason doctors go with it aside from patient compliance.
I believe prop also cost a little more.
Pros: less time to stable state with Prop
faster to adjust dose either up or down
Cons: greater chance of PIP/reaction problems (like burning sensation)
more up and down - if youāre sensitive to peaks and valleys itās a con
The only real injection frequency is daily with Prop
Enanthate/Cypionate is more flexible, less risk of injection issues, the cheapest thing out here. But, adjustments take longer and so does a steady level.
With propinate even on daily you may not be able to achieve stable levels.
The idea of the long esters on daily injections is to overlap multiple half lives and achieve stable blood levels that are not fluctuating.
