math problems while squatting.I like that!!
CB- have you tried GNC??
Is it addictive at all? Like you can’t wake up in the morning without a shot of Spike? haha
How do you feel when it wears off?
I got hooked on Coffee while underway doing Hatian ops. We would have late watches and I started drinking black coffee first a cup would keep me up during the Mid watch (12-4) then 2 then a pot and so on followed by jitters and all that crap.
Spike does non of that. Its the only sports drink I use I don’t take any caffiene pills or sports drink. One can will keep me going and I only use it on squat days saturday with about 7 other people all shapes and sizes male and female…However we do have one person who said it has no effect.
CB- your not going to find me unless you are military…we live on base!
PMPM- no, she didn’t touch me…I woulda punched her…just kidding.(not really) But Im too nice…shoulda said “HELLOOOO! I’m tryin to squat here…gtfo!!” There I feel better now just typin that.
So about the spike…I wanna try it, but I have a sort of addictive personality. I guess I’ll do what you do four60 and use em only on the bigger lifting days…

That was me venting, venting about the oddess.
I find myself crying for no logical reason. I tried your introspection, and of course there are things to fix in the long term, but I can’t do them right this instant. Thinking sucks anyway, it makes my head hurt.

Oh damn.
Why are they treating you weird?
Because I’m a girl that just got dumped by a long term boyfriend. I think it hits too close to home.

trick is to focus on nothing at first. Literally. Maybe light a candle in a dark room and focus on the flame and think of only that flame. Sounds corny but it works. Do this every night. Particularly when you need to relax. Note the time you begin and try to go for as long as you can without thinking about anything except that flame. It’ll be very difficult at first.

This is actually why I love BJJ so much. It’s really hard for me to not think. I spend all day alone in a dark room with a microscope and a computer, thinking is all I do. When you’re rolling though, you can’t think, you can’t even think about what you have to do to win, you can only do. It’s a great feeling, to be moving purely on instinct. I can’t get there in a room alone, I’ve tried. The only other place is occasionally in the weight room when there’s something really heavy trying to crush me.
