Backtracking a bit, people assume I can’t speak English well either. There is always this moment of shock when I start talking and they hear a heavy Kiwi accent instead of the Sri Lankan/Indian accent they were expecting.
Do people honestly express this openly? Or is it just obvious?
I mean I know people are jack asses, but I can’t imagine just openly being as ignorant as the dude pch2 was describing.
I’ve had a couple of people actually openly state it. I find it more amusing than anything else.

Everywhere I’ve read says not to roll your lower back. I tried it, it was very uncomfortable and felt like I was doing more damage than good.
PVC rocks! Lower back is for stability, foam rolling creates mobility. Need mobility in Thoracic though. That is why.
Good Morning all, MIM, is it too late for that cup of coffee? Hope not.
Toots, the avatars Hungry picked for you are wicked, and oddly appropriate!
Okay, Since I logged off ant 4pm Cali time, I am trying to keep up with the questions, and if anyone cares here goes,
Hungry - Been working as a Millwright for almost 25 years (yes, I’m that fucking old), working on machinery, installing and maintenance. spent 13 years as a union rep for them, then went back into the field. The company I work for now does Steam and Gas Turbine Maintenance and installations. The ‘Boss’ I was referring to before is a guy that I went to apprentice school with when we both started, so we’ve known each other forever.
MIM, you probably thought I worked for the military 'cause I mentioned the hurry up and wait time that I spend. I’m the Service Manager for our Western Division - that covers 13 western states. There’s a lot of hurry up and wait time.
Soooooooo…Now that we’ve bonded, anybody up for a dip in the hottub? Clothing optional…

Being a lawyer is so much fun. People do stuff and shut up just because you tell them to!
I learned two things about some (or most) lawyers today. Money talks and nice guys finish last.
Aww, I’m sorry. If it’s any consolation, I had to clean up a ton of cat puke this morning.

I agree, I think I will save those pics. The one I have now I like because I’m not a ginger and I wonder if people think so because of the old avatar.

Really I’m oddly pissed off because I’m not sure why it didn’t hit me sooner. I just think that if anyone (yes, even lawyers) says they are going to contact you, they will. Unless it’s a first date and someone says that to be nice. Then they can go shit in a hat. (:
Oh and unrelated to anything I’ve been talking about:
Every time I see Worm’s avatar it makes me think of giant killer cheesesteaks.
Carry on.
toots, ftr, its not shit in a hat, it’s shit in a skillet.
mim- havent said it yet but your new avi rocks. so does toots’.
mak- OH HAI!!
pm- woolite oxideep is mah friend when it comes to cat puke. unless the dog gets to it first. YIKES!
rock- love how you show the ohio love. for cereal.
Hehehe, the puke was on an area rug that I want to get rid of anyway, the dog got to half of it first, and the rug is yellowish-tan, just like the cat puke. Win, I suppose.
“Evil will always triumph, because good is dumb!” Yeeah Bud-dee!
(I made sure to type slowly and clearly, so Mak & pch2 didn’t get confused. If that doesn’t work, I can always USE ALL CAPS A-N-D T-Y-P-E E-V-E-N S-L-O-W-E-R SO THEY UNDERSTAND.)
Toots!
So whats wrong with Gingers?!?
(Indignant scowl)

This is the first time I’ve gotten it in quite that way, but I occasionally get ‘Your English is really good.’

Nothing! I always wanted to crossover to gingerland, but it ends up looking fake on most people. I take it you have a redwood forest?!?!? hehe.
you could say that…
Guess I could use a trim, too.
Or a wax (ouch)
Most Vikings are Gingers, by the way…
