Ever Feel Like a Threadkiller (8)?

Astral traveling? beevis laugh you said astral butthead laugh

saw a street performer yesterday performing this and the song above…I think standing on the street corner eating ice cream listening to the music was more enjoyable than the zoo.

^ oh and we sent our son over to give the man a $…they both felt happy

I think I lived in the 60s…

Both of youse should try astral traveling at night. Worm, you won’t have to think about stuff since you’ll be busy, um, traveling. MiM, well, that will also keep you busy til AM.

If you guys can do it, pop by my place and say Hi!
when you “pop” back into your body does it ever knock the wind out of you? wasn’t sure if that happens to everybody or not.
Never happened to me. I just hear a loud “whoosh” sound and a jolt of light. On the way out though I do get pretty dizzy, and there’s lots of weird noise, which sounds like broken words that are repeated endlessly. Once I start hearing the noise, I try to “follow” it.

Do you lie face up? I actually find it happens easier when I’m on my stomach and think about being pulled up from my back - but then I get stuck hovering and that’s as far as I’ve gotten!

from what i understand, there are four stages. i can’t remember their actual names, but sensually they can be broken down like this:

Sensing
Feeling
Moving
Controlling

The first stage is where you see and hear things that don’t make sense. Bits of conversation and weird images that you somehow see with your eyes closed.

Then you start to feel yourself becoming lighter, and that’s when i usually get the “whoosh”.

the moving part is when you’re actually released from your body and can move

stage four is when you can control that movement. The stages are cumulative, so now your seeing, hearing, feeling, and controlling yourself.

the shortness of breath comes when you snap back in.

All this comes with a disclaimer: I’m not convinced any of this is “projection” of any sort. I don’t think we ever leave our heads, but every living thing is connected on a higher level, especially creatures with advanced communication techniques like ours. We explore a twisted and very biased version of the world through our own experiences and can occasionally “feed into” the jet stream of this connective energy.

For the most part I tend to be very rooted in reality, being a devout evolutionist and scoffing at organized religion on a whole. But we are more than just meat, and the answer is in that brainpan.

Agreed!

Also, on this topic, and back to your aliens - I heard that these beings that come to Earth are just highly evolutionized humans. Like, what the human race will eventually turn into. They just have incredible mental capabilities and use that to travel through different dimensions (i.e through time).

I thought that was an interesting idea.
