OOOHHH, right, ok then. Yeah, I think Rod outranks me (well, my old rank) anyway, and thatās frowned upon anyway, so I never had a chance. LOL.

Semper Fi.
^ That is what always comes to my mind.
Damn it was hard this morning to fire my employee, but I stuck to my guns and didnt get sucked into the crying and arguing
Do they serve Beer in Hell?

Was it justified? Unlike my work who fired a female dealer two weeks before Christmas for being 30 minutes late because her babysitter was late to care for her premature son who just spent 2 months in the NICU and still needs special care by specialized babysitters, not just the teenager next door, the same female dealer was also refused maternity pay which is granted by FMLA because she went into labor early and had to call out several days in a row before they actually took her off the schedule.

Nope. Well, not planning on it at least, but weāll see what happens with a week off if boredom sets in.

Unfortunately Greeny I had no choice, I would not do this to anybody.
I have worked for my company for 4.5 years and have missed a half day of work due to illness. I know everyone is different, but she has missed at least 9 days this year alone. All on Mondays, all after it was known she was out with friends on Saturday/Sunday night. Plus the fact she still has assigned work on her desk from October that could be done in minimal time. She also is toxic to the other staff causing problems with moral.
I have worked with her and been above and beyond compassionate with her life situations. But at some point when is enough enough? When do you finally cut the cord?
I struggled all weekend with this and I am the one who has to deal with the choice I made. But she put me in this position and nobody but her is to blame for that.
