Hi TK I failed my test btw. :frowning:
Oh well will try to book another asap. I think they were telling me at my school that the earliest is end of the month beginning of next year. :-/

Although this is the same thing that happened when I was trying to get my reg driving license(I got it on the second try) so maybe it will work out. lol
Eh, you’ve only really failed when you quit trying.

Good luck on the next one.

2 weeks ago, when I tried to do a dip, my hernia repair said no when I went to push up.

Today I did 8 sets of 8 reps at lunchtime

See there! You just made my point!

Glad the recovery is going well.

Very hard to get up at 2:30 am, drive four hours to work for the next 8 hours.

Long fucking day

Bummer, but I’m sure you’ll do fine the second time.
Yeah it’s doable. I didn’t do anything that would be an automatic fail and all my right hand turns(the hardest ones) were great but I think that when I told the school I wanted to postpone and have a couple more lessons because I wasn’t ready I should have gone with that. Oh well.
Sorry to hear that. What part of the test did you have a hard time with?

In California we have a three part test; pre-trip, skills (parking, backing up and stuff) and a road test.
Well there’s no parking for this test but there is a backing up strait a full truck and trailer length and a couple and uncouple part but that’s all apart of the road test. I passed the pre trip but failed the road test. It was a lot of little things mostly not one big thing.

But at least they are fixable things so I think I’ll be okay.

And thanks to everybody else in tk for the cheering up and pep talk stuff.

Do we still like kittehs in here?

It’s your way with words that makes you such a great writer.

When guys complain about being fat, am I supposed to pretend it’s like when a woman complains about being fat, and lie? Cause dude at the gym looked appalled when I said maybe he should start eating less.

Lying doesn’t help anybody.

Or, say nothing at all.

Was he fat?

Well saying nothing at all would have been weirder, I think. He caught me at the end of my workout, when I’m tired my social veneer is gone.

He wasn’t obese, but yeah he was fat. Probably had a good 50 extra.

Ordered my singlet and lifting shoes. Eyeing a competition at the end of January.

Always tell a man the truth. If he can’t handle it, then he’s soft.

Lying to a woman is good, though. It keeps everyone alive and well. Ask Hungry.

Ah, ok.

You did the right thing.

I honestly don’t think that i’ve lied to Greeny about anything… She’s been able to handle the truth so far.

Men should be able to handle the truth. They don’t have to like it… but they should be able to deal with it.

I used to tell her when an ex emailed or called, even.

I say yes Patch should have said what she did. He should be able to handle it.Especially if he was the one who brought it up.

I think you can be honest with women too but you have to be gentler imo.

I agree.

I assume he brought it up and she didn’t just go up to him and tell him he should eat less.

I would prefer honesty as well. A gentler, kinder honesty, but honesty nonetheless.
