Reading the Hunger Games trilogy. Good stuff.

Dark Shadows bored me to tears.

The Reacher books are fucking EPIC

Wol, Waffles are awesome. Pancakes are good, too, but I’ll ALWAYS have a special place in my heart for waffles.

Since the fam and I have a large, multi-room basement that doesn’t see much use, I’m entertaining the idea of building a gym. Entertaining…
Yeah, I think it’s kind of like a soap opera especially after he became the good guy. :-/

Oh well.

Morning tk people

I did some sprinting tonight.

Good to see you’re back at it. How’d it go?

Captain America was a fun movie. Looking forward to the Avengers movie.

Kids have expensive tastes when it comes to Christmas shopping.

Bum and thighs feel thick/swollen. Good stuff.

I’m watching Wanda Sykes:Sick and Tired right now. btw.

I’m interested in Avengers though, despite “Dollhouse” I like Joss Whedon.

Might check this out. Looks funny as hell. A definite departure from what I grew up with.

OMG 21 Jump Street! lol

When me and my friends first fell in love with Johnny Depp. <3

Well technically it was Platoon but whatever.

I’m thinking about just reading a book I have on the shelf, but if anyone comes up with any suggestions that peak my interest …
What other generes do you like?

I started The last Reacher book yesterday afternoon, fucker was so good I finished it last night.
I’ll read just about anything really … I read all 5 SoIaF books back to back so I might change it up a little bit … I liked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo so I might read the next one in that series … but tell me more about these Reacher books
How does the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo book compare to the movie?

<–Seen the movie but not read the book.
It’s a book, use your imagination

Actually, I’ve never watched the movie. My wife read the book and watched the movie and said the book is better, but the movie was still pretty close to the book. They’re making an English version with Daniel Craig as Blomquist that’s due out around Christmas time.

Old.

Shower by candlelight= soothing as all get out.

So much work to do today.

I am so appalled by my alma mater this morning. Dunno if any of you have read up on this but a former Penn State coaching icon (Paterno’s long time D coordinator) is facing charges of violating 8 young kids - there are witnesses so it is pretty certain he’s guilty. The charges are atrocious.

Also multiple high ranking officials in hte school learned of it and never reported it to the police.

Scandals just don’t happen at PSU. Not only is this shocking but I feel sick for those kids (some of them now adults) and their families.

Sorry Polo got tired and went to bed.

Lee Childs, there are 16 books. We even had a thread on here about them.

Main character X military Police bad ass 6’5" 250 pounds of ass kicking bad ass. Guilty pleasure reading, decent plots and some type off “detective” type action.

May 2013 needs to hurry up and arrive. Today’s events have pushed me close to the edge…

Problem is Penn state will get massacred for this, at Least Joe Pa did the right thing. It is not his responsibility to follow up after he reported it, the Pedo was no longer even coaching at Penn after Joe Pa found out.

Agreed - I’m not mad at JoePa, I’m mad at the university and those who didn’t report it (and obviously Sandusky himself).

The guy started a nonprofit charity for at-risk youth, god knows how many of those poor kids suffered and didn’t tell anyone.

So if it was your son and Paterno did nothing more than report it to the AD who casually swept it under the rug, you would be ok with that? Knowing that for 12yrs that he was getting away with it. Paterno made a devastating mistake by not going to the police.

Honestly I hope the Pedo goes to jail for the rest of his life and ends up with an O ring that you could put a bowling ball in, then I hope he gets repeatedly shanked and dies bleeding out slowly on a bathroom prison floor.

Again I don’t agree with this. Paterno mishandled the situation as much as the university did. Why does he get a pass?
