Dash, Pajamas = hotness. You can never look like garbage. I know this. You know this.

FF, the hobbies question is not bs. Yeah, you go with the flow, however, I imagine you are passionate about some things, other than drinking. Stop being lazy, and stop making excuses. This is my stern, manly, motivating voice bytheway.

Hal, stop with the weight-loss. Burnout is a bitch.

Yup. I think I’m the only Cub fan on here.
Ha!

I’m not a Cubs fan, but on a business trip last summer a bunch of us went to Wrigley to watch a game. It was awesome. Watching a game in that park is one of those things on the bucket list.

Then went looking for live metal bands.

I hate people. Somebody stole my work truck last wednsday while I was in the diner having breakfast. You mean pics of you or pics of your baby/babies?

That really sucks. :-(
My babies.

I went door to door last weekend looking for a methhead with a laptop, but no luck.
Man that sucks. Maybe an add in the paper to at least have your pics emailed to you.

I’m not saying it’ll work but maybe they have a heart or something. :-/

Probably not much hope of that.

my husband is an old high school friend whom I met up with years later and it clicked.

before him I dated guys from college… school was great for meeting people.

A lot of people around me hooked up with peopl at work, or via people they know at work.

I think joining a local sports team/activity could be a fun way to keep work out of it. I meet a crap load of people through my diving, and I’m way more social diving than lifting.

^^^Agreed. When I’m teaching, or simply out doing something I enjoy, I open up a lot more. Tends to attract more people to me. “come to the darkside…we have cookies.”

Look at installing this on your next laptop. http://preyproject.com/

Also, if you haven’t already, check craigslist and ebay for your laptop.

You could get lucky there.

Yep, although I am friendly in the gym and have no problem with chatting in between sets, but usually it’s get in get it done and go home.

Rod- I was joking with the drinking comment, I mean I like to have some good beer now and again but I would not call drinking a “passion” of mine. I just always get stumped with the question. I like reading, I ride my motorcycle as much as possible, and like I said I like doing stuff outdoors, planning a hiking trip down south (still illinois, but its a different state down there!!)

Good morning folks.

So,… this is where all the cool kids hang out??

FF—what about at local bars? Im not saying snag up a bar fly…but some decent folk like a beer. I’d kill my mom for a blue moon (beer) every now and then.

The gym?

Not sure why I’m giving advice. I have no success story. lulz
quoting this one because A) i dont know how to quote more than one post at once, and shes cuter than you beansie.

work- i work with a bunch of dudes and dykes- fail. maybe i can snag an er nurse though, theyre hot but that time is limited.

picking up skanks is not on my current agenda. Been there done that and- im scared of STDs hahaha

local bars-theres really nothing there, same town same people. hopefully when i finally move out come january ill go somewhere where i can meet more people thinking of going downtown for a year or two, live it up for a while and meet people which would make sense. I try to go down every so often and stay with friends but i have a crazy schedule and i feel like its all slutty chicks. which is cool for a fun night out but not my point here

gym- x2 beans i feel like i would really creep someone out. I did save a lady from being crushed while she was squatting she smiled and said thanks- she also had to have been in her mid 50’s

not trying to be a negative nancy here but i sure do sound like one

Go back to school, that way you know they at least have SOME direction.

Take BS classes just to be on campus, plus you are to young to just settle as FF/Paramedic, yes I may get shit for that, however I have my opinion.

Be a man go to some Crossfit classes, take some dance classes, cooking classes.

People go to bars to hook up for sex, to have something meaningful you need to have real discussions and common interests.

Well, if you’re passionate about these things, talk about them. Ladies like to hear that stuff. Shows you’re not just your job or the gym. Or any other “bro-code” stuff, for that matter. DO IT!! lol
