Im not a clubby person, ill go once in a blue moon drink a lot and dance like an idiot bc well i think its fun. Im more of a local bar guy, dont meet people there. I dont go to school, well not your typical school, i dont meet people there. I will not do an internet dating site after a fucking horror movie i just witnessed due to one (hint: not an actual movie, someones real life experience, not mine of course, im to awesome to be duped). You see where the conundrum is right?
still have yet to meet the two hotties from last thread, hopefully soon. Been talking to an au pair lately, but google au pair and youll see what happens with that one. But that may be a fun time regardless for a little while. UGH

local bars-theres really nothing there, same town same people. hopefully when i finally move out come january ill go somewhere where i can meet more people thinking of going downtown for a year or two, live it up for a while and meet people which would make sense. I try to go down every so often and stay with friends but i have a crazy schedule and i feel like its all slutty chicks. which is cool for a fun night out but not my point here
gym- x2 beans i feel like i would really creep someone out. I did save a lady from being crushed while she was squatting she smiled and said thanks- she also had to have been in her mid 50’s

You’ll meet less girls at the local watering holes but the ones you’ll meet will be way better than randos at a club (disclaimer, I hate clubs).
Mutual friends are the best way to go bar none, meeting chicas at bars does suck. But if you have to, you have to. If you catch a girl making eye contact just walk up and say “Hi.” The worst you can do is waste 5 mins of your life

FF, met my girlfriend at work as well. She will be my wife. All my shitty relationships that led up to this amazing one were found at parties, bars, and one at a track meet (go figure)…
Hallowed, I’m no expert, but maybe you need to reboot the body/metabolism like Beans says and then everything will start firing on all cylinders again? Or just crash eventually like I do and sleep for 15 hours straight and feel amazin.

yeah ive got a buddies GF setting me up with 2 girls soon-ish she says. he says theyre ok which is a good sign, the last couple times he was all gung ho about it then the second she left and i had already agreed to do it, he said i needed to bail asap haha. But he says these are a go so time will tell.

Honestly, getting set up by someone that knows you is a good idea. Though the worst date I have ever went on ever EVER EVER was a blind date that one of my undergrad roommates set me up on. However, good friends know you and will at least have an idea.
