Well Yo Momma is showing what we can do, strength training will slow the process if done correctly. You cant stop it, just slow that progression.

You also lose some with cervical discs and space of knees.

Woman are a TON more likely for this because of osteoprosis, so dont smoke, weight train and get Calcium and Vit D.
well, the more I strength train the more I seem to get worn down.
I have little to no cartilage in my knees. Thats the news I found out yesterday.

American woman is 5’5" and male is 5’9.5"
We both know that aient true in Houston.

Yeah, I wish I was tall.

Also, I knew a couple of chicks in college who were tall. One was 6’2" barefoot. Seeing her in heals was frakking crazy.

Yes well being smart about weight training. PL is probably not the best thing for that.

Did you do a lot of running when you were younger?

When I say American I meant Caucasian American, cause Mexican and Asian American are more like 5’2". I have not stats off the top of my head for African American woman.

Well,if we cant get taller,we can get wider.

We took this at the beach this weekend.

What do you think?

I’m 5’5". Mom is 4’10". Dad is 6’0".

Talk about an obscure item to dread!

For me, it was “Coach G’s weekly Cup-Check”

His fingers were so… old…

Brad you and your Catholic school memories.

only running I did was in bootcamp/military PT, etc.

I was just getting into wanting to sprint and do a bunch of conditioning work too when I was halted by pain in the process.

My knees always gave me trouble, and I of course ignored it. But the pain progressed enough lately to where I physically couldn’t even try to squat, lunge, sprint, etc. now I know why.

I never really had a chance to see what I could do. kinda depressing but I’ll be ok.

party on…

Work around it, I am destined to have knee replacements, family trait. Some people have a genetic disposition for “weak” areas, back, knees, shoulder etc.

So you cant run or sprint.

Start to ride bikes or swim instead.

There’s nothing they can do about it? Can’t the stick something in there? Grow you some new ones? DJ?

I was the tallest 6th grader, ever since then I’ve felt super tall. I’m 5’5 though I usually see my self a tall. My mom’s about 5’ even. To her I am tall.

Well there are some new “replacement” discs but those are for injured or ruptured discs.

At this time no reason to stop natural aging for cosmetic reasons.

This is the best pic I have at work, and I won’t incriminate my girl friends. We’re in Atlantic City.
