So…emergency red button was pushed Thursday night. Instead of news of pregnancy, my gf/now-fiancee got news of cancer. Devestation and fear ensue. Get prognosis and way-forward Friday. Both are promising. Surgery should take place within the next couple of weeks. From there, baby-making.

How far and how heavy?
Thanks all for the thoughts and words. Although, admittedly, I had my own lil “moment” where if witnessed, some young punk could’ve tried to take my Man Card. It would have ended badly for him, of course.

Rod glad the prognosis is good man.
Derek, it was at Tennessee’s Strongest Man this past weekend. Don’t post much except in my log, so yeah, I guess you could say new guy, haha.
And Rod, just saw your posts. Glad to hear the prognosis is good.
Thanks again, Hal and (ahem) “Wiggles.” Feels wrong calling another man “Wiggles.”
I voted for Mondays. Gotta start somewhere.

True, I worked nights and weekends for 14 years so Friday night used to be my Monday and that is just sad.
