In General men do not care for wedge shoes. Women love them because they are easy to walk in even when uber tall but generally men like to see a stiletto.

FACT!

Question;

I been interning at this place since July and everybody seems to like me alot. When should I go to the director as ask for a part time job here? I was thinking about waiting until October but some of the guys suggest I do it ASAP. Im not to sure, any advice or suggestion guys?

As opposed to “asking” I would suggest TELLING him how much you enjoy working there and how interested you are in a permanent position… he may not even know you’d like to do more than intern.

Then if nothing is offered by October you can reapproach or look elsewhere.

What if he already knows that I love working here? I know a graphic design guy is on his way out but another one is filling his shoes. Im not sure if another web design guy is in the budget.

I think you should officially let him know that you are extremely interested in a permanent position.

That’s the thing right there, is it in the budget.

If not, can they build you into the budget for the next FY. If you wait to find out till October you’ll be left with your dick swingin since their budget will probably already be accounted for.

Stiletto boot = impractical for everyday wear

I’ve found that air casts are low on the sexy thing list.

Yes I agree and I love a good wedge shoe.
I especially love a wedge with an ankle strap.

My BFF Mo calls a wedge with an ankle strap a “rape escape” shoe.
Cuz you don’t look like it… but you can FRAKKING RUN in them.

So yeah, rape escape FTMFW (just be advised menz prefer da pump/stilletto)

For what it’s worth, the ladies out here in California at least up north of LA, have taken to wearing “riding boots” over the last couple Autumns/Winters.

I’ll bet that about 97% of them have never even seen a horse but those boots are awesome and they get my attention every time I see them.

They aren’t spike heeled, nor are they coming from a design that makes them look like the picture you posted.

Much like the other guys I don’t like those boots you posted, sorry no maam.

Yeah, I’ve also been leaning towards something flat and knee high so very riding boot like. The problem is I have both calves and ankles not cankles. So boots that will go over my gigantic calves leave me with loose ankles, ankle that fit result in a zipper that doesn’t go up. I’m still searching, but idk if it’s gonna happen.

Yeah I might be showing my hand at being a wierdo girl boot enthusiast, but I dig those piles of bunched up leather around the ankles that comes from excessive wear/big calves. It’s definitely possible for you.

It’s ok if the boot is supposed to scrunch, but other wise I prefer clean lines. I really like the look of these, though they don’t go with anything.
