None, I have never owned an Italian car.
Well, if the average Italian car is built like a Ducati, I can tell you that they’re like really fickle, snooty hot chicks.
Ducatis are so tempermental that they sometimes just won’t start, and it’s not that there’s necessarily a mechanical issue (although definitely likely). I know this because I’m friends with guy who test rides them for Ducati.
My friends have owned Alfas and have said the same thing: tempermental and require expensive (and sometimes hard to find) parts, but fun to drive.
Max and I are talking about longevity, day-to-day ownership. That’s a different context than simply performance or looks, which I would assume i what you’re talking about since you haven’t owned an Italian car; I would assume your opinion is based on what you’ve read and seen, not personal experience.
That’s not a dig. My father sold cars and I just got a sense of Japanese workmanship after 20 years of seeing hundreds of them on the used market. I grew up in the era of the Supra Turbo, RX-7 Turbo, and 300ZX TT.

those cars were bad-ass.
even to a gear head like me who loves American muscle, I still dig those rice burners.

I dig American, Japanese, German, Italian…
I love all cars. A nice design is a nice design. Performance is performance. I’m not elitist about brands, personally. Cars, to me, are like finely made watches; you can’t help but appreciate good craftsmanship. And cars embody man’s desire to conquer his environment.
I just feel like that 90s was the era of the Japanese super cars, and I get nostalgic every time I see the Nissan GT-R; it reminds me of that era. There’s one in my area and it really deserves its nickname: Godzilla.
I worked at a biotech where one of the guys was a “car guy”. He had a GT-R, 911 turbo, Hummer H2 and H1, Ferrari I forget which, and the impossibly amazing Porsche GT. His everyday car was a Porsche Targa 4
needless to say I was a bit jelly.

My parents first car, kinda funny to imagine my 6’3 dad fitting in this thing…

I love American muscle cars, what saddens is me is that the quality has faded over the years. Back in the day, you could not kill an American car. Those cars were tanks. Now they are made cheap and plasticky.
hey hey hey only one toe is black the others are now pretty normal looking. all still broken and go crunchy when I bend them or walk too fast. Hurts 1000 times less than I thought it would.
So…hi!!!
Is there another vid of Hallowed speaking besides the crazy lady gyrating in front of mirror vid?
