What would you consider an absurd amount of time for finishing a 4 year degree? For some reason, I cant get beyond not finishing in 4. Its fucking with my head.

Rambling…because evryone else is either graduating today or this spring that I know…feels weird.[/quote]

I took an extra year. Don’t sweat it! No one cares about that in the work world.

DebraD’s right, Rock. There are all kinds of legit reasons for not finishing in 4 years, especially with this economy. The end result… your degree… is what counts. Don’t let it bother you, just keep your head up, mind focused, and your eyes on the prize

Please give yourself a break! No one but no one gets out in four years. Like five minimum with summer school! In cali classes so crowded is impossible to get units.

So today is has done gym
I has done tan
I’m about to do laundry…

What is happening!?

Was supposed to go work out today, but dun think that’s happening. Have a Yule celebration tonight.

Having one tonight, having a HUGE bonfire. Like twelve feet across, vats of home made liquor, and tons of food.

Didn’t go. Decided to stay home. Went to Olive Garden with IH.

Love Olive Garden. Do not get there enough since that would mean driving. Saw the grandkid for Christmas today. Was fun.

everyone takes longer than four years to graduate because colleges finally learned that they make more money by keeping you there longer. My college gave me a guidance counselor my freshman year who sucked. she took my five class schedule and told me that no one takes 5 classes per semester in college, she then signed me up for four, 2 classes on tuesday and thursday at 7am and 9am. then 2 classes on MWF starting a 830 with a five fucking hour break in between my first and second class. She then said she was required by the school to register me for classes my first years. She signed me up for all shit classes, and electives my first year and a half, not a single core class. So I had to play catch up the next 3 years, without any fluffer courses to ease the burden when I got to tougher classes.

I took calculus as a 6 week summer course and had the dean sign off on allowing me to take 7 classes my final semester to graduate in 4 years. I later found out the counslor was fired for pulling this shit, and was just scamming students and forcing them the graduate later. Plus any credits taken over 12 per semester were free, so she made it than no one every took more than 4 classes. My last semester was 21 credits and a lab.

schools pulling this shit was on the news here in Boston a couple weeks back.

Me…yes, I have a social life. My cousin, however, does not. She stayed for four years though to finish her piano major. Came into University of Chicago with two majors in foreign languages and a quarter of her piano degree. I remind her that I’ll make more money the first year out of school than she made the entire time I was in school while she is out. Then I realised that wasn’t true because she get’s paid 45K her first year to translate books for the library of UofC.

WOOOOOO GOIN ON A PLANE TO DISNEYWORLD SEE YA SUCKERS!!!

i mean, love you guys.

took me 6 years to get my associates…beat that!

I suspected some shit like that was going on back in my freshman year. That’s why I just stuck to the catalog when picking classes. My advisors are worthless. lol

If you look closely you will see MinMD dancing in the crowd. This is her icebreaker.

just finished catching up on the crazy.

good afternoon everyone. I always booked my own classes. the advisors were of no worth. can’t beleive I graduated 5 years ago already. time flies baby. time flies.
