Ever Feel Like A Threadkiller? 33

I am happy. My gf’s hair is no longer black. It is red again.

@ Deb

I only come in here to see funny pics and gifs, but I thought I would mention this in regards to your cat.

I had the same with mine, and he ended up getting scar tissue in his urethra from the repeated insertion of catheters. This meant even after the crystals were broken up he was still unable to urinate.

We ended up having a urethrostomy performed. It may not be appropriate for your cat, but is something to ask the vet about before putting him down.

FTR, my cat had it done 5 months ago and has had no problems since.

i had a urethroplasty myself, it is holding up very well!

Pretty well. Going to the Nutcracker Ballet in a bit. Glad you don’t have to mess with finals. I know you had a lot of writing to do instead. Home as in the island?
Yup, to the awful, awful heat and humidity.

For a second, I read that as the nutcracker bar and you had me worried. Enjoy the ballet!

Where the HELL is my Captain America underwear?

Well it was pretty late at night but something like. “I think im becoming an alcoholic” must have been not serious which is what I expected.

Hai chim, nice avi
Thanks Hallowed, how goes it?

I am beyond happy to be home from sacramento. Didn’t get back til after nine and trying to enjoy my one day weekend. Have to make up my missed hiit today… and still not sure if im allowed to count my failed steady state or not probably need to redo it too.

So happy to be laying in my own bed all morning!
What were you doing in Sacramento?

Oh, steady state… what a terrible thing. I’ve been doing cardio twice a day for the last week or two.
I was there for an insurance class. I’m an insuarance professional and I’m in the process of getting my CIC designation from The N ational Alliance. Was gone three nights and my workouts got a little messed up. I only do steady state twice. Week and usually don’t mind it. Should NOT have attempted the stairmill day after heavy legs day though! Epic fail.

Dude, twice a day? That’s intense what’s up with that?
Haha, do you have an actual stairmill with stairs? If so, lucky you even if you try it after leg day!

Just trying to shed the last bit of fat and I’d rather go all out and get it over with than take my time.

YES the thing with actual stairs. There are eight of them at each of my gyms. For ss im not allowed to use the eliptical and im not up for running 45 minutes. You’re right trying it after legs day was absolutely idiotic.

As long as you don’t keep up all that cardio forever. Don’t gt acclimated to it. You’ve got to be pretty close to done losing fat.

Those things are brutal! How come you can’t use the elliptical? Too bad ass for it, I’m assuming.

Definitely, I can’t wait to be done with all this sinning (cardio). I’m not sure, I probably have another month of dieting left.

I’ve recently started “sled pushing” with an upside down plyo-box on top of a stretching mat as my sled. Much more fun than regular cardio.

I got in trouble the other day for pushing/pulling my truck in the street. I was like officer, it’s 5:30, how many college students do you know that are even up at this hour that would even come close to this street?

…yeah, whatever. Just park it in the parking spot.

Chim I’m not gonna quote cuz our quotes are getting rididulously long! Plus I tnink we’re. The only two playing in here right now.

I really don’t know why im not allowed to use the eliptical its just coach’s orders" cardio may not be done on eliptical or recumbant bike" I typically so the ss on the stairmill cuz yeah its badass lol. I do fast hiit intervals 45/15 on the upright bicycle I get a fucking righteous pump from that rock hard quads. I do long hiit intervals 60/120 on the treadmill.

One more month is not bad! I wish I had an eta myself. I’m positive I can lose another 20 scale pounds. Guess ill see what my coach says after that. Also not sure how long it will take three more months probably semi realistic.

Two of my lifting das are fast paced circuits. “Very metabolic” I have seen articles on this type of weight lifting you should look into it. Def cardio based on getting the heartrate up up up but way more awesome than traditional cardio.

Haha, did you try hitting him?

That sucks though, pushing cars is pretty fun stuff.

You’re right about the quotes.

Do you not find the intervals on treadmills really awkward?

Three months isn’t too bad, how are you on calories? Are you starting out decently high with a drop later on, or just steady calories for a while?

Yeah, I might have to change up my lifting to pretty complex/circuit based stuff. My gym back home is disgustingly bad in terms of actually having any plates and I’m not sure I want to pay for three weeks at a real gym over break.

Treadmill is fine for the long circuits sprint one minute slowish jog two minutes. Would NOT work for the fast intervals.

Cals are good. My coach handles all of that shit thank god I don’t have to think about it anymore. He is great at what he does and known for being the rare fitness coach that does not starve his girls or kill them with endless cardio. Im far from a fitness girl but catch trickles of the politics in that world and its crazy! Apparently his approach is a real threat to some coaches.
