Ever Feel Like a Threadkiller (26)

I’m debating on lifting today or not. It’s one of my “optional” days where I do CGP as my main lift. I suppose I’ll see how I feel after my afternoon row.

I’m at work and headed to the gym when I get done here. Planning on big lifts today to shake off the week.

Off to the gym. Hope everyone else’s gym time goes well!

Hey motherfuckers.

Anyone here like benching alone, failing, and having to roll a bar off your body (and big gut)??

No??

Me neither…

That’s why when I bench alone, I do not do the clips. That way I can just lean it to one side until it dumps.

I didn’t use them either, but with a baby napping in the house, I figured I’d be ‘quiet’ about it. Haha

went hiking today…

it took 1.5 hrs to go 1.8 miles…and then another 1.5 hrs to get back, lol

Yeah, babies are awesome. Even if I didn’t drop a weight, I couldn’t train in the same house with a baby without it being awake.

At least it didn’t take longer to get back! Nice work!

I think one of the girls at the gym was practicing for a strongwoman competition as she was doing clean and presses with a thicker bar (I think it’s an axle?) and then when we left she was outside doing farmer’s walks.

Wish there were women at my gym training like that. Heck, I wish there were MEN training like that

Most people like that do not train in commercial gyms.

ya, not bad considering we stopped to explore everything on the way there and back. Plus dug for fossils on the beach at the end and we played on the recycled tire playground when we were done.

mommy is tired.

So you’re saying all of the people on this site only train at noncommercial gyms?

Sounds like an awesome day!

ya, I’m trying.
I plan on us having an adventure every Saturday, until we possibly run out of things to see and do!

Even if you’ve done everything there is to do, just do them all again. The kids won’t care, and you just might enjoy it too!
