what does it feel like to have that much money all of a sudden?
Oh, it’s exciting, but not really all of a sudden though. I have a semi-serious gambling bankroll. I brought on the trip 10k in cash and 10k in chips.
…holy shit. Not enough to be a big leaguer but sure as hell a more than semi-serious. How often is this that your going? Should we have a tmsucle intervention?
So far this year maybe 2 times a month for poker games (tournaments/game afterwards), I mostly play on the computer. However, serious going to the casino maybe ten times.

Well, the serious part about the bankroll is relative I suppose, I have a partner who has a bank into the upper five digits. The cash are my personal bank, the chips were not.

No intervention.
I’ve always thought of doing something like this but it seems like it would be a slippery slope. Got any advice on how to get started?

And the verdict is…?

I have to read it still…I was reading the skipping breakfast thread this morning.

Now taking out my bike for a glorious 10 min ride. thats about how long my daughter lasts on the back of it. Trying to extend it a min. each time. 30+ plus pounds is quite the workout!

I hope they do that for every year.

ah cool MiM, I’m having a peek now.

http://articles.elitefts.com/articles/nutrition/logic-does-not-apply-part-2-breakfast/

we made it 15 minutes!

there also a thread on the supps n nutrition forum here that talks(argues) about it.

I saw the supplements article that you posted in MiM. If I did the heavy work outs you do with a little cottage cheese and coffee in me I would fail big time. I found this out the hard way (of course). For me, hitting the weights at 4:30 p.m. after b-fast, snack, lunch, snack works a lot better. I’d never argue against it because what matters is what works for each individual.

Its 11am! Go to sleep or Go to Church!

regardless of when I train, I’ve never been a roll out of bed and eat kind of person.

Even back in boot camp we woke at 4am, got ready and exercised, came back to clean up and our first meal wasn’t til 630-730am.

Maybe it’s a learned habit, but I don’t mind it.

Hi Wol.

Shouldn’t you be in Church?

Nope, but I’m about to be in a pool!

To be honest I’d be happy with making what you just did once or twice a year.

<never even bothered to go into a casino. Theres a decent one in my town and another big one across the river. I have a lot of friends whose gambling got so bad they ended up being banned/voluntarily banning them selves.

Still, even though I get no fun out of games of chance where I have no control the idea of winning several thousand dollars in one night is very lucrative.
