MONDAY: Organize, plan, and delegate
TUESDAY: Follow your boss’s directions
WEDNESDAY: Avoid conflict with co-workers
THURSDAY: Ask for a favor or a raise
FRIDAY: Ask a colleague to do things your way

I would say towards the end of the week. It’s Wednesday, so not a bad day to choose. Today/tomorrow should work, as long as boss isn’t in a pissy mood. I don’t usually get in pissy moods at work, until someone who underperforms asks for a raise…that’s never good.
