ARGGG!!!

The only way I see it being stopped is if it starts taking up too much bandwith… And with threads like Ass Worship containing a picture in 99% of the posts, I dont see that happening for LOOOOOONNNNGG time.

Also, as far as being the longest thread ever, we have along way to go:

3700 pages and counting. I dare anyone to read the whole time. I’m sure there are longer ones, thats just the longest one in the top 5 of google.

So, I had a great ‘t-man’ moment at the gym yesterday.

I work out at a sucky gym. I joined it when it was a Gold’s Gym, but it was a franchise, and now they’re “Urban Active” in an uppity part of town.

Ugh.

So, I go in and wasn’t sure if I was going to do my legs or not (knees have been bugging me) but the choice was made for me: both squat racks had yahoos doing curls in 'em. One of them was actually a TRAINER with his client using ORANGE coated dumbbells doing some sort of chicken dance thing with them.

Anyways, I said "well, I guess it’s deadlifts today. I grabbed a bar off of one of the benches and put in a ‘clearing’, since this gym doesn’t have anyplace to do that kinda stuff, and I start working. After my warmup set, I go heavier and notice that I’ve reopened the scab on my shin from the knurl on the bar.

So, here I am, stranger in a strange land, doing an exercise that I have seen NO ONE else do at this craphole, and I’m bleeding to boot.

Made me proud to be a freak.

I witness 3 guys having a curling match yesterday - first time ever.

They did standing barbell curls/dumbell curls and preachers from what I saw, needless to say they were lagging everywhere.

But there arms had a good pump…
I belong to a local rec center and will sometimes use their weights at lunchtime due to schedule efficiencies. Yesterday, a guy who is the perfect example of skinny fat was doing wrist curls - one wrist at a time. And the guy also did pulldowns with little weight, sitting backwards, and down behind the neck. I wish I could say he was the exception to the rule there but he was not. Even with blinders on, it would be hard to miss.

There are two guys in my gym, they “workout” togheter and it is funny to see them doing shoulders lateral raises, with poor form, they throw the weight up and lower the shoulders, so, the weight is flying up and falling down by gravity, and they make a big noise when they lower the dbs against.

And grunting, etc. The funny part is that they has been longer on the gym I use the little db in a controlled way and hold at the top. and my shoulders have grown larger than theirs. they like to make fun of my “light” weights, but doing good form is something they don’t realize.

I don’t really care about what they do, but they mess with me because they want me to use their “technique”, and I insist, their shoulder are not something to ask about how they workout.

Yeah, I get ya. I see guys for db curling grab the weight that is really 10-20 lbs heavier than what they should use and doing that upper body jerking motion to get momentum to help them. It is the only time that I have ever seen curling be an entire upper body exercise, lol.

My college gym is full of upper body whores. It’s pretty entertaining. Ridiculously jacked upper bodies on 13 inch, atrophied calves. Good stuff!

Yeah, I live in North Olmsted, and work in Beachwood, so I have EITHER of them to choose from and their BOTH in uppity sections of town (Westlake and Beachwood).
