Is for BONG

Was in Palm Springs. It was late and I was tired in Phoenix. Nothing too special, but I had a coke and that was delicious.

So I went to CA for our industry law seminar from Thursday through Saturday. Really good conference, met some great attorneys, etc.

Flew back to Denver Saturday night. After a layover in Phoenix, landed in Denver at 12:30. Had to walk from the concourse to the terminal because the train was broken. Then had to wait 53 minutes (after several exceedingly exhausted and angry phone calls) to get my off-site parking shuttle. Finally in the car, heading home, and THUMP THUMP.

Double tapped a bunny.

THEN, up ahead, what do I see, but a train! At the crossing…stopped…for thirty fucking minutes.

It’s good to be home. Hubby has a stomach bug. Ugh.
Good weekend, then? Where in CA did you go? And, did you enjoy your layover in the lovely Sky Harbor Airport?

I saw more roadkill this weekend than I ever have in any road trip in the past. Drove to Anaheim and back for my wife to run the Tinkerbell Half Marathon. Coyotes EVERYWHERE (flattened), and saw my first roadkill bobcat even. I didn’t run anything over like PMPM though, I prefer to make my kills with something other than a car. Sicko.
Yeah I was in Big Bear for the weekend and the coyotes were on the move, howling from multiple ridge lines. Something spectacularly lunar-cycle must have been going on? hard to say.

Morning, all. It’s a very cold, beautiful day here in Eastern Bavaria!
