Oh. I’m in so much pain. I tweeked an ass or hamstring or something.

Was doing back squats (only 125 pounds) and had to dump the bar after the 5th rep.

I couldn’t move for at least a minute.

:(
Eek that sounds bad.

Is it the muscle or maybe a nerve?
I think that it’s a muscle knot.

Right now I’m sitting on a neck massager and it is circling something knot like in my ass.

I can bend from the waist now. I have never felt so much pain while lifting. I think I over did it… duh… my advice is to take it slow and look at me! I did hill sprints on Sunday, crossfit yesterday (which included front squats and thrusters) then oly lifting tonight.

Thanks for the sympathy!
Maybe a muscle relaxer?

I find small balls(golf balls) and going with the grain of the muscle helps to work out knots.
I have golf balls and tennis balls. I think I’m going to be sitting on them for the next couple of days.

Since it’s just us girls here, when this happened I also got cramps at the same time. I really didn’t think anything of it at the time because I was in so much pain elsewhere, but I also have my fucking period a week early now. Probably a subject for the PW forum, but those girls scare me.

I think you’re just trying to get someone to kiss your ass and make you feel better…
No kisses. A good massage would be nice though.

when wimmenz at bars rub up on my daddy parts, the very last thing on my mind is elbowing them in the pie-hole.

Please provide me with a list of those bars.

I don’t get it.
I would do that for you.

Well part of the whole pms thing is water retention which can lower the pain threshold and make stuff seem more painful.

Hopefully that’s a part of it.

Midol has muscle relaxer in it I think.

Where the fuck have I been that I’d never heard of this dude???

And Christine, it sounds to me like you more than overdid it. Once upon a time, I would have eagerly offered to pamper that knotted ass.

LMAO at “Daddy Parts,” and agree that that gif was fucked up.

Hey Rod, how’s the baby situation?

Have you been online googling all things baby?

When you can know what the sex is do you want to know?

Yes, I will definitely want to know so that I can make proper preparations. I don’t buy into the nonsense of waiting til it’s born.

And yes, I’ve been a googling idiot.

I played the guessing game.

For each one of the nine…

Although a lot of that was because of the ex.

Damn that. I want to know.

Merry New Year!

We didn’t know for the first two, I wanted to know and she didn’t on our third. I contacted the ultrasound tech on my own and found without my wife knowing.

If you want to find out and the other parent doesn’t, don’t let on that you know. Otherwise, they’ll take every comment you make to mean that your giving away the baby’s gender.

Oh, that wouldn’t go over well at all with the wife. If I knew and she didn’t, she’d try to make me stay quiet, but I would probably make her even more bat-shit crazy with lots of innuendo. lol

thanks for the advice, though.

Yeah program planning. :-D
There are some pretty sweet running sites with articles, programs and forums… Runners World could be helpful.

Thanks Beastie. I’ve had had several offers already.

I had to crawl to the bathroom this morning. Once there it took at least 5 minutes to get my ass on the toilet. I think it took another 20 minutes to be able to stand upright.

Thankfully it wasn’t a pee emergency, or I don’t know what I would have done.

Sitting on ice right now. Will attack it with a golf ball in a bit.
