Similar situation. I can’t do anything about it until Monday though.

What is your breakfast? Is it worthy of your love?

I have not yet met it yet, although the stars at night and sun in the morning gives me hope of meeting that one true breakfast.

Coffee,…that sweet dark rich whore of my soul.
My life feels like nothing but football, which is okay. What’s getting a little old is my grandma calling me an hour before every game and asking me soccer questions and then me having to explain that American Football is not soccer.
She’s so cute sometimes.

I miss my grandma, the strongest person I ever met.

I can’t wait to hand my grandmother her first, and what will probably be the only, great grandchild.
It is going to be my favorite part to be honest.

This I Envy.
Coolest thing I’ve heard all week. And I hear lots of cool stuff.
My grandma is a really cool lady. She keeps me on my toes. Doesn’t speak a lick of english, though.

Just me and the baby tonight. A tray of homemade Italian wings for me and bad case of diaper rash for her.
May need to start drinking…[/quote]
My bro’s daughter has really sensitive skin and they swear by Pate d’Ihle. It works within minutes/hours. Last time he ran out we were trying to locate a store that was open at 10pm. It works that well.

Because it always feels like we are posting for a bunch of 15yr olds with very narrow views of beauty who don’t know how to keep their big mouths shut.
aww your grammy sounds cute Dash. Is she small too? Like you just want to pick her up and carry her around?
ok that was weird.
460- I don’t really eat breakfast cause I train in the morns. A whey shake or greek yogurt…maaaaybe some oat meal if I’m feeling extra famished. The recipe thread in the V-diet section has some good ideas…like breakfast pizza, mmmmmm
Ironic you are talkin about grandmas. Just got off the phone w/ my dad talking about my grandma (step-gram technically) turning 91 today. She still volunteers, goes to a 3x/week walking class (in the fast group), and MOWS HER OWN LAWN whenever my dad forgets to insist that she pay someone. I swear she never stops moving. Remarkable woman.
She was 82 when my gramps died and never missed a beat. She sends me new pics of him and I playing around in my younger years every birthday/xmas.
My oh my, it’s gettin a bit dusty in here as I reminisce. Damn eyes always watering up this time of year, I swear…
I never had Grandmas growing up ![]()
The hubby’s grandmas are mine but theres only one left.

Funny story, I once sat through the first 25 minutes of the movie “Old School” with my other, very strictly religious, grandma. Dinner that night was a bit awkward.
My grandparents on my dad’s side were from Germany.
My grandmother barely spoke English, but she made great kolaches…
