@ beans it was several years ago. I wasn’t fully concentrating on powerlifting then. I honestly don’t think it was much different for me than just getting in plenty of beef. Mainly because you have to take so many of them before it seems to make a difference. There are a number of old school guys who do swear by them though as busy alluded to.

I grew up eating deer meat, and the water i had at my parents place was higher in iron content fwiw. That is probably why it didn’t affect me that much that could tell.
