Would you rather your child is some sort of prodigy, or just normal?
I will take normal ay day of the week. NOt that prodigy is bad, and I would try and help my kids do whatever, but it just seems like a raw deal in a lot of ways.

I’m going to mention the other party because they are not around to defend. I just want my kids to be happy in life.
I’m fortunate that they are all doing well in school and will work hard towards their goals.
I dont have kids, but Im sure I will someday. All I really want for them is to wind up in a happy and healthy situation. If they have a skill and choose to hone it, I would want to be supportive in that. If they have a skill that doesnt interest them, I dont want to be manager-mom and MAKE them pursue it. I just want happy kids.
