Dual major in Ex. Science/Kinesiology and Social Work. Also with a good Writing program, since I like to do this alot.

After 11 years of trying to do this with BPD/PTSD, I have only accomplished a tag of “Does Not Play Well With Others.” This deployment was a HUGE failure.

UC Berekely has an incredible MSW (master’s in social work) program. Start looking there at grad or even undergrad programs. There’s also a decent writing/poetry scene around there.

Portland State (Oregon) also has a great program. Again, I think it’s only graduate level.

Personally, and considering YOUR personality, I would tell you to first pick a place whose environment AND weather will suit you.

That’s pretty much my mindset, as well.

If you’re serious about this, I might dig up some info for you.

When would you be looking to make the move?

I’m pretty damned serious.

6 mos to a year, most likely. Depends on how smoothly this medical board process goes.

So…I believe I’ll be moving on from the military a lot sooner than planned or expected. This means that I have to figure out places I want to live, for at least 4 years (college). Open to suggestions.[/quote]

Really? How soon? Can you go to school in Germany?

Okay.

Also, IH just corrected me. I thought he was saying “dry” but he was saying “drag”. Damn the PA accent!!!
