I DO think a thread on periods would be funny, though.

Yeah, I just said that not having a period was great. Nothing too gross. Though, don’t you hate it when…oh wait…n/m…

The left side of my neck is killing me, I think I did something to the upper trap and it’s making my neck hurt.

firefox + AdBlock+ = hway more productivity.
The Canadian hockey juniors are 2nd best in the world…wtf?
On the plus side, the USA’s leading scorer ever (Schraeder) is a Canuck prospect.
I’ve had enough snow. Really. I’ve lost my patience with it.
Good thing is, I’m eating better and spending less money because going out for junk food is so much of a chore.
I know, I know, the Canadians win the winter comparisons.

Bass, how long have you been unemployed? What type of job are you looking for?
Goddamn, that SUCKS, bud.
Dude, what does your resume look like?
I’m not even being an ass, but if it isn’t attractive at first glance, people are throwing it away right now. The market is tough, and presentation makes a difference right now. Trust me… It matters a lot.
Do you have a cover letter?
Email me a copy if you want.
How have you been dressing for interviews? What is your hair style like?
(I know these are ghey questions, but in this job market employers have the pick of the litter. And the little things matter much more than before.)

Actually, those points would be the ones I would’ve been asking, once I got a reply to the first questions:)
There’s nothing “ghey” about it. These all make a difference.
Sending in resumes and interviewing online, is just a gigantic time suck. These days, you should still be going to these places in person and seeing people face to face.
x3 on the resume and looks stuff. I had my friend, who was a former colleague and now does legal recruiting, revamp my resume. I went from maybe one interview a month to one (or more) a week. I still blow interviews (no, not in that way), but at least I’ve been getting more.
Colorado unemployment closed my unemployment claim because I’ve been doing my temp work. If this job ends, I will have to reopen the claim. It took six weeks to get my first payment when I initially opened the claim. It better not be like that again.
I fucking hate unemployment.

Oh, and I always get dick comments on one of my bench press videos on YouTube. I got two in the past couple of days.
One was a woman (with no videos or subscriptions to strength channels) who said “Obviously you dont understand that arching the back can cause a major injury…”
The newer one was a guy (again with no videos or subscriptions to strength channels) who said “Horrible form, and a bench shirt for just 200lbs? Talk about a waste of time, how about training for actually functional strength?”
Functional strength.

LOL… I am waiting for my first jackass comments from people…
I still wonder if I will or won’t tell people to go fuck themselves.
As far as the Haircut Bass, go more for Military and less for Beatles/slayer/irondwarf. Those of us that wear a tie to work don’t want to deal with pot smoking hippies all day. ![]()

Persistance HAS to pay, sooner or later, PMPM. I wish I had something more inspirational… But, i’m sure you get tired of hearing the same things, over and over again.
Shit is getting old, i’m sure.
Hungry:
Laid off in March, found a contract (30 day) to perm job, in September (180 days later) they end the contract. So since then.
Beans:
Resume looks good, had 2 different career coaches revise it, I have cover letters, I dress professionally to interviews (suits), hair is fade (not bald) not crazy, looks almost like Alec Baldwin from from 30rock, but shorter on the top and sides.
Maybe I should just show up in gym clothes after a leg workout.
