She’s definately more lab in temperament than chow. But I hear that can change. She definately has the stubborn Chow streak in her but is a quick study on her own terms.

Man, the pie’s long gone, and I didn’t get pics!
I put a little too much egg/cream on the top crust, it ended up a little too dark, but it was still pretty good. I usually use egg whites, but this recipe called for egg and cream. I will use egg whites next time. I also used Fuji apples instead of Jonathan, and they didn’t cook up exactly right…almost a little bit chewy. But, it was still a damn good pie.
Now I don’t get to bake again for a whole year.
