I got the flagstone at a local supply house, we wanted to go with a different color, but the price was outrageous.
I like the look of the grass inbetween also, but the goal is ‘NO YARD WORK’
I’ve found that yardwork does not feed my soul like lifting heavy things does.
Once I finish with this, theres a side yard to landscape, and then I’ll be done.
^ Hahahahaha yea the older I get the less I like yard work. Was my first job at 12 was working for a local nursing home doing the yard. Now 25 years later I am still doing the same shit. But you could just weed eat that shit quickly. I will say I did the rock/crushed rock with the last one, those fucking rocks end up in the most unlikely places. Normally under your bare foot when you are in the back yard at night drunk walking to the fence to piss.

Nice! And very similar to my garden, with the flagstones as the paths and main area, then plants around the borders. I’ve got some kind of ground cover growing between the stones. I can’t recall the name, but it gets little purple flowers. I like the idea of the crushed granite too, Edgy. That will look great.
Gardening does feed my soul. I just bought another dwarf Mandarin tree to go out there. I think they hauled in a bunch of subsoil and compacted the heck of of it when they built my house, because the soil is sooo hard. Last time I put in a lemon tree, I had to take a pick to it, trying to dig a big enough hole. Then my back seized up and I could barely move for a week. OK, maybe only some gardening feeds my soul!

I am very familiar with flagstone; I worked at a rock yard for a few months in the late spring before shipping off to bootcamp. FML that shit sucked, but was fun at the same time. Had to move boulders, stack flagstone, wash trucks, change big ass semi tires. It was awesome/fun, but sucked when the heat crept in after 7:30am…

Yeah its from the lifting only I didn’t do anything outragously different on Saturday. I DID go up to the big wheels on my RDLs (135x12x3) but thats not much more than my last workout… weird.
