I had been leading my son around all day, he only had one fit on this trip thank the lord. Picture taken was about 30 minutes after he had punched me in the face, bit and clawed my arm and blew snot all over my shirt. Good times. [/quote]

I like that hat!!

I have to write a paper and I’m on so many cold meds I can barely concentrate.

We need a gender neutral pronoun. He/she is so awkward to write.

“One’s peer group has a large influence on the person he/she is.”

All I can picture is confused people asking what a he/she is.

PMPM if you get a bow tie, we will be needing a picture!

One’s peer group has a large influence on whom (or is it who) that person is.

Couldnt this work?

Are you quoting studies?

“The subject’s peer group had a large influence on personality traits”

“Membership in specific ingroups/peer groups has a big influence on the respective person.”

Lots of ways to avoid the direct form.

Yep///pic of Bowtie required.

Toot’s…howz your innerdz feeling these dayz?

PC, “One’s peer group has a large influence on who they are” or “…on the person whom which they are”

Edgy, stay out of Toots’ innerdz! (Ok, don’t…haha)

Things are going OK. I went to the gym today for a bit of treadmill fun…NOT! This time I’m not gonna hit the weights hard right away cause I had a build up of scar tissue from last time. Meh. Cardio bunny wanna be it is.

What made me laugh is when I told my mom I went to the gym today, she freaked and I thought in my head the peeps from TN are prob like, Hey why aren’t you squatting already?!?! LOL.

One sentence down, you guys just need to write two more pages for me.

Toots? Did they say anything specific to prevent scar tissue build up?

I swear, it’s every other week with these exams- three this week, one next week. Semester is on the downslope though.

My workouts have suffered- lots of studying + time with the woman= in the gym once a week, or prowler work. I’ll be more excited for spring term when I can get in the weight room a lot more.

Toots,

On the issue of scar tissue. The first scar tissue to lay down is VERY tough. It’s not flexible at all, and with time your body will break it down, and lay down newer scar tissue that has more “give.” If where your operated area seems really stiff, it will loosen with time.

pch- No, they really didn’t get into how to prevent it. Last time I asked when I could start lifting weights again, I got the blank stare.

Max- I don’t know if we are talking about the same thing but I remember your story so you def know more then me. I had adhesions all along my right side where I was operated on a few years ago. This time the cyst was on my left ovary but I couldn’t figure out why the other side hurt as much until after the procedure.
