I never ask anyone at the gym to spot me, probably hold me back for benching but I’d rather just keep to myself in my own bubble, free of douchers.
Haha it’s kinda fun talking in the third person. Though i need to say this isn’t about anyone from T-Nation, just the other people i’ve met at the gym and etc.
And Chris, thanks for keeping your non-married mouth shut.
This made me laugh. If you just stayed in the kitchen, I am sure none of this would be a problem.

Sum it up: Marriage is where he does things for you and you do things for him. Ignore everything else. Okay, not saying anything on marriage.

P.S. From the two times I was going to get married, I gathered as much stuff from old people (people married 30-60 years) as I could that helped their marriage. The information and the one book they said helped them (I am not using my knowledge, but their knowledge so blame them) turn around or reignite their marriage was the statement above and the book Love and Responsibility.

I hope your marriage the best of grace can bring it!

The zone tends to be a mere fraction of the size it is at a gym, no?
I bought a membership at a gym to get myself out of the house and get the benefit of a spotter once in a while but I have gone once :stuck_out_tongue:

There is something to be said about going downstairs in my pajamas and a coffee and practicing snatches.

PMPM I hope you and your guy find a way to work it out. I worry about being faced with a similar situation because I have to keep busy and work hard at stuff just to keep myself happy and one day I’m going to be asked to give something up.

Sorry to hear about the marriage troubles PMPM. I’m going to join BC in the never married keeping my mouth shut corner, but this is the perfect thread to drop your woes in.
