I spent all day in bed (currently in bed) cuddling and playing. Woo hoo!
TB’s (the boy) roomate has gotten super gross and fat. It’s sad. He hasn’t the the sofa all weekend. He’s just drinking, smoking and playing FIFA. TB thinks he’s a lost cause.

I was going through a really tough time for a bit, feeling a bit better. Oh, and it snowed here yesterday, first time in Los Angeles in like 50 years.

Just kidding about the arms, but today I had one of those wake up calls* where you realize your fat and out of shape, except I already knew that and have been working on it.

- So my wake up call story happened 5 miles north of Sedona, AZ about 0500. I had came off the Highway to go scope for some elk antlers, well I went down the wrong road and hit mud and slide down the road into some rocks. So, I realize I could push the truck up the road so as I put my shoulder into the front grill of the truck I push it about five feet and run out of breath I bend over and try to catch my breath as the truck slides down into me and I fall into the mud. I lay in the mud for fifteen minutes trying to catch my breath and get up and try it again and I just can’t do it. So, I go up onto the high way wave down another antler hunter and we winch out my truck from the mud and I go home to clean my clothes and truck…so I am adding sprints to Friday after work.

Had this realization about 6 months ago also. That is why I have been working on losing weight and doing the dreaded Crossfit with the wife on Saturdays.

I know what the deal is tho - I fall in the same trap - been searching for a visible set of abs since I lost them at 20. At 20, I was 6’ 175 lbs and thought I was sexy as hell. Looking at pictures of those days, I laugh and think that I looked rediculous.
